BUTTON FUNCTIONS
PLUS/MINUS
(up/down) Adjusts values, sets the resistance
(Level)
MODE
Confirms input or selection of the user
START/STOP
Starts or stops training. Start or Stop is shown
on Display 1 for two seconds before the program
enters the Sleep mode
SAVE
Stores personal data and entered values
RECALL
Displays stored data in the Stop mode and selects
the memory location
RESET
Erases the set values, changes the display
TOTAL RESET
Switches to the start of input
ZOOM1
Switches the display (pressed briefly). If the
button is pressed and held for two seconds during
training, automatic switching is activated. Pressing
the button again deactivates the automatic action.
ZOOM2
Switches the display (as for Zoom1)
RECOVERY
Activates the recovery function (Fitness test). Once
measurement is complete, press the button to exit
this function.
MODE + MINUS
Switches on the blue background lighting.
CONTROL PANEL FUNCTIONS
1. Speed
The speed is displayed in kilometers per hour (km/
h from 0.0 to 99.9).
2. Rotational speed
The drive wheel rotations per minute are displayed.
3. Time
Without a preset time, the control panel starts
counting up from 00:00. The seconds are also
displayed in a strip profile.
4. Distance
Without an input, counting starts from 0.00 and
goes up to 99.00 km (kilometers). For counting
down, the value can be preset starting at 09.00 km
in increments of 1 kilometer.
5. Calories
Calories are displayed in increments of one calorie
upward to 9999 calories.
For counting down, the input uses increments of
10 calories.
6. Pulse
A) Your actual pulse is displayed when using the
hand pulse sensors, the ear clip or the chest strap
during training.
B) In the H.R.C. program (Heart rate control),
you may select the percent ranges of 55%, 75% or
90% appropriate for your age, or you may select
a specific pulse rate (H.R.C./TAG). Resistance is
regulated automatically during training.
7. Your actual fitness index is calculated by the
control panel using your pulse rates.
Please proceed as follows:
A.) After finishing your training session, wait until
the time display in the control panel is no longer
running. Keep the ear clip or the chest strap
attached so that the pulse rates can continue to be
calculated. However, you may also use the hand
pulse sensors. Stop exercising now; otherwise, the
fitness index calculation cannot be performed.
B.) Press the Recovery button. RCV appears on
the display. This means that the control panel is
calculating your fitness index.
C.) Wait quietly until a value of F1 to F6 is
displayed.
This value is your current fitness index. Now press
the Recovery button, and the control panel will
switch to normal mode.
8. Watt
The actual power in watts is displayed during
training. The preset value is 120 watts. It is
possible to adjust watt values starting at 10 watts
upward in increments of five watts.
9. Temperature display
The room temperature is displayed in the Sleep
mode (no training).
10. Calendar
The month, day, and year are displayed in the
Sleep mode.
11. Time of day
The time is displayed using 24-hour mode.
12. Control panel background lighting (backlight)
You may set the brightness and contrast. Press the
Mode and Minus buttons simultaneously to enter
input mode. Press the Plus/Minus buttons to set
the contrast (1 -- 5). Then, press the Mode button
