TENT PITCHING INSTRUCTIONS – ARÊTE (EN)

Inner First Pitching 400

1. Assemble the pole 427

2. Open out inner and position in required direction. 409

3. Locate one end of pole into corresponding eyelet on pole anchor strap. 112

4. Push pole into an arch from opposite side and locate pole tip into eyelet 113

5. Suspend the inner tent from the pole structure using the clips. Start with the clips above the door. 1508

6. Place your tent in its final position and peg out all pegging points 1612

7. Open out flysheet and position over the pole structure 1414

8. Attach the flysheet to the pole structure using velcro tabs on the inside of the flysheet 1415

9. Connect the toggles on the sides of the inner tent to their corresponding tab on the inside of the flysheet. 157

AUFBAUANLEITUNG – ARÊTE (DE)

Innenzelt-zuerst-Aufbau

1. Stecken Sie die drei Stangen zusammen und legen Sie sie parallel zueinander auf den Boden.

2. Breiten Sie das Innenzelt aus und positionieren Sie es in der gewünschten Richtung.

3. Fixieren Sie ein Ende der Stange in die dazu passende Öse in der Verankerungsschnur der Stange.

4. Drücken Sie die Stange von der gegenüberliegenden Seite gewölbeförmig hoch und fixieren Sie die Stangenspitze in der Öse.

5. Hängen Sie das Innenzelt mit Hilfe der Clips in das Gestänge ein. Beginnen Sie mit den Clips über der Tür.

6. Platzieren Sie Ihr Zelt in seiner endgültigen Position und stecken Sie alle Befestigungspunkte aus.

7. Breiten Sie das Überdach aus und positionieren Sie es über dem Gestänge.

8. Befestigen Sie das Überdach mit Klettverschlüssen, die sich an der Innenseite des Überdachs befinden, am Gestänge.

9. Verbinden Sie die Schnüre an den Seiten des Innenzelts mit den passenden Laschen im Inneren des Überdachs.

10. Spannen Sie ALLE Spannseile.

INSTRUCTIONS DE MONTAGE – ARÊTE (FR)

Montage en commençant par la tente intérieure

1. Réunir les trois arceaux et les poser parallèlement sur le sol.

2. Ouvrir l'intérieur et le positionner dans la direction voulue.

3. Placer une extrémité de l'arceau à l'intérieur de l'oeillet correspondant, sur la bande d'ancrage de l'arceau.

4. Pousser l'arceau à l'intérieur d'une arche, depuis le côté opposé, et placer la pointe de l'arceau dans l'oeillet.

5. Suspendre la tente intérieure depuis la structure d'arceau, à l'aide des clips. Commencer par les clips au-dessus de la porte.

6. Placez votre tente dans sa position définitive et attachez tous les points de fixation.

7. Ouvrir le double toit et le positionner sur la structure d'arceau.

8. Attacher le double toit à la structure d'arceau, à l'aide des bandes velcro, à l'intérieur du double toit.

9. Relier les chevilles, sur les côtés de la tente intérieure, à leurs attaches respectives, à l'intérieur du double toit.

10. Attacher TOUTES les cordes de tension.

How do I impregnate a tent? Verified

Pitch the tent, clean the cloth and let it dry. Apply the impregnation agent on the cloth with a plant sprayer or other spray. It is also possible to use a paint roller or brush. The cloth needs to be fully saturated with the impregnation agent. Also treat the inside of the tent. Thoroughly clean any windows with a moist cloth. Do not let the impregnation agent dry on it. Let the tent cloth fully dry. Repeat the treatment if needed.

Can I repair a tear or hole in the canvas of my tent myself? Verified

There are special pieces of self-adhesive patches of cloth available for synthetic tent canvases. Stick one of these patches on both sides of the hole or tear. For cotton tent canvases or mixed material tent canvases it's best to use patches that can be ironed on. This will require an iron.

When a zipper is running smoothly, use a dry PTFE spray or silicone spray. Do not spray onto the cloth and preventively spray to prevent future problems.

On grassland or forest surfaces you can use semi circular or plastic pegs. On rocky surfaces you need to use rock pegs. On clay surfaces you can use semi circular, plastic or universal pegs. On gravel surfaces you need semi circular or universal pegs and on sand you need to use wooden pegs.

The impregnation agent leaves white stains or a white haze on the tent cloth, what can I do about this? Verified

If the agent leaves a white haze or white stains on the tent cloth, this means you have applied more impregnation agent on those areas. This is not harmful and the stains often disappear over time. It is not advisable to use less impregnation agent to prevent stains. The cloth needs to be fully saturated with the impregnation agent to give good results.
