Safety Warnings

For your continued safety and to reduce the risk of injury or electric shock,

please follow all the safety precautions listed below.

WARNING!

• Never stop the appliance before the end of the drying cycle unless all

items are quickly removed and spread out so that the heat is dissipated.

• The appliance must not be supplied through an external switching

device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly

switched on and o by a utility.

• If you will not be using the machine for a while such as when you go

on holiday, disconnect the plug from the mains supply and turn o the

water supply. This is particularly important if there is no drainage around

the machine.

• If the water supply is left on, water pressure may build up and cause a

leak. Turn o water supply after use.

General Use

• Transit bolts are used to transport the machine. You should remove

these using a spanner or similar tool before you install the machine. If

you do not, it will cause strong vibrations when the machine is spinning.

• Do not install your machine anywhere that is damp or exposed to

explosive materials. If you do, it may cause an electric shock, re, failure

or deterioration.

• Do not pour water directly onto any part of the machine. It may cause a

short circuit or electric shock.

• Items that have been soiled with substances such as cooking oil,

acetone, alcohol, petrol, kerosene, spot removers, turpentine, waxes and

wax removers should be washed in hot water with an extra amount of

detergent before being dried in the tumble dryer.

• Items such as foam rubber (latex foam), shower caps, water-proof

textiles, rubber-backed articles and clothes or pillows tted with foam

rubber pads should not be dried in the appliance.

• The machine can be used on textiles suitable for machine washing and

drying.

• CAUTION: Do not connect the machine to hot water. The machine

works with cold water only.

• The appliance is to be connected to the water mains using the new

hose-set supplied. Old hose-sets should not be reused.

I want to use the 'Dry' programme on my new Logik L18W6D20 washer-dryer but I don't want to run it for the full default of 4.14 hours. Is it possible to adjust the dry time to an hour or 50 mins? If so, how do I do it?

Hi there, why is the drying time 4:30 hours? Is it a set time? Sometimes I put that option then it only dries for an hour or so which I prefer, but it doesn't do that everytime?
