SURF

SET-UP INSTRUCTIONS

1. Assemble the long breglass poles and

push them through their sleeves (the

longest pole on top). Then fasten the

ends of the long poles in the webbing

pockets.

2. Spread both of the long poles by clipping

on the short poles between them.

Tension the strap fastened at the ends of

the windscreen making it form an arch.

3. Position your windscreen and peg it

down. Use a mallet to secure the pegs in

the ground but be careful of your hands

and feet when hitting the peg.

4. To protect it against wind, additionally ll

the carrybag with sand and fasten it with

hook and loop straps in the middle of the

shelter.

AUFBAUANLEITUNG

1. Die langen Glasfaserstangen werden

zusammengesetzt und durch ihre Kanäle

geschoben, (die längste Stange ganz

oben). Befestigen Sie dann die Enden der

langen Stangen in den Gurtbandtaschen.

2. Spreizen Sie die beiden Stangen indem

1. Saml de lange glasberstænger, og skub

2. Spred læsejlet ud ved at klikke de korte

stænger på de to lange stænger.

Spænd stropperne, som er fastgjort i

læsejlets ender, så der formes en bue.

3. Placer dit læsejl, og fastgør den med

pløkker. Brug en pløkhammer til at slå

pløkkerne i, men pas på ikke at ramme

hænder og fødder.

4. Som beskyttelse mod vind kan du

der udover fylde transporttasken med sand

og fastgøre den med stropper midt på

læsejlet.

OPZETINSTRUCTIES

1. Zet de lange glasvezel tentstokken in

elkaar en schuif ze door de hiervoor

uiteinden van de lange stokken vast in

het net aan het eind van de hoezen.

3. Zet het scherm op zijn plek en zet het

vast met haringen. Gebruik een hamer

om de haringen in de grond vast te

zetten, maar let op uw handen en voeten

als u op de haringen slaat.

4. Vul om het scherm tegen de wind te

beschermen de draagtas met zand en zet

hem met klittenband vast in het midden

van het scherm.

INSTRUCTIONS DE MONTAGE

1. Assemblez les longs mâts en bre de

verre et glissez-les dans leurs gaines, (le

mât le Plus long au Sommet). Attachez

ensuite les extrémités des longs mâts

dans les poches de sangles.

2. Étaler les deux pôles longs en attachant

les pôles courts entre eux. Tendez les

sangles attachées aux extrémités de

l’abrivent an de lui donner la forme d’un

arceau.

3. Placez votre abrivent à l’endroit désiré

puis ancrez-le. Enfoncez les sardines

dans le sol à l’aide d’un maillet en veillant

à ne pas vous blesser.

4. Vous pouvez également remplir le sac de

transport de sable et l’accrocher au

milieu

de l’abrivent à l’aide des bandes auto-

agrippante (scratch) an d’éviter qu’il ne

s’envole.

Can I store my tent when it's wet? Verified

Only for very short periods of time. When a tent is stored while wet for a week or longer, it can get moldy. This is harmful for your tent and possibly your health.

How do I impregnate a tent? Verified

Pitch the tent, clean the cloth and let it dry. Apply the impregnation agent on the cloth with a plant sprayer or other spray. It is also possible to use a paint roller or brush. The cloth needs to be fully saturated with the impregnation agent. Also treat the inside of the tent. Thoroughly clean any windows with a moist cloth. Do not let the impregnation agent dry on it. Let the tent cloth fully dry. Repeat the treatment if needed.

Can I repair a tear or hole in the canvas of my tent myself? Verified

There are special pieces of self-adhesive patches of cloth available for synthetic tent canvases. Stick one of these patches on both sides of the hole or tear. For cotton tent canvases or mixed material tent canvases it's best to use patches that can be ironed on. This will require an iron.

The zipper of my tent won't run smoothly, what can I do? Verified

When a zipper is running smoothly, use a dry PTFE spray or silicone spray. Do not spray onto the cloth and preventively spray to prevent future problems.

No, this is probably condensation. Make sure the tent is properly ventilated to keep condensation at a minimum.

What tent pegs are best to use for which surfaces? Verified

On grassland or forest surfaces you can use semi circular or plastic pegs. On rocky surfaces you need to use rock pegs. On clay surfaces you can use semi circular, plastic or universal pegs. On gravel surfaces you need semi circular or universal pegs and on sand you need to use wooden pegs.

The impregnation agent leaves white stains or a white haze on the tent cloth, what can I do about this? Verified

If the agent leaves a white haze or white stains on the tent cloth, this means you have applied more impregnation agent on those areas. This is not harmful and the stains often disappear over time. It is not advisable to use less impregnation agent to prevent stains. The cloth needs to be fully saturated with the impregnation agent to give good results.
