CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE TIPS

Get the most out of your camping trip by having

a trial run, putting up and taking down your new

tent in order to know it before you use it for the

rst time.

Insecticides must not be sprayed in or on

the tent as they may damage the fabric and

coating!

When taking down and packing the tent, it must

be completely dry to avoid mildew/rotting.

Remove dirt from the tent with a soft sponge

and pure water. Never wash the tent in a wash-

ing machine and never have it dry-cleaned.

Store the tent in a dry place.

Be aware that (UV) ultraviolet rays will

damage your tent if you expose it to

direct sunlight for longer periods of time.

Lagern Sie das Zelt trocken.

Beachten Sie bitte, dass UV-(ultraviolette)-

Strahlen Ihr Zelt beschädigen, wenn es über län-

gere Zeit direktem Sonnenlicht ausgesetzt ist.

Få det bedste ud af campingturen, ved at prø-

veopstille teltet før du tager af sted for at kunne

lære det at kende.

Insektmiddel må ikke sprøjtes i eller på

teltet.

Ved nedtagning og sammenlægning af teltet

vær opmærksom på at teltet skal være helt

tørt for at undgå forrådnelse.

Snavs på teltet fjernes med en blød svamp og

rent vand. Vask aldrig teltet i vaskemaskine og

anvend aldrig kemisk rensning.

Opbevar teltet tørt.

Man skal være klar over, at solens ultraviolette

stråler kan beskadige oversejlet på teltet, hvis

det er udsat for længere tids placering direkte

i solen.

Tirez le meilleur parti de votre tour de camp-

ing en vous exerçant à monter et à démonter

votre nouvelle tente pour la connaître avant de

l’utiliser pour la première fois.

Ne vaporisez pas d’insecticides dans la tente

ou à sa surface, car ils peuvent endommager

le tissu et son enduit!

Lors du démontage et de l’emballage, la tente

doit être parfaitement sèche pour ne pas moisir

ou pourrir.

Enlevez la saleté de la tente avec de l’eau pure

et une éponge douce. Ne lavez jamais la tente au

lave-linge et ne la faites jamais nettoyer à sec.

Rangez la tente au sec.

Notez que les rayons ultraviolets (UV) endom-

magent la tente si cette dernière reste longtemps

exposée au soleil battant.

TIPS VOOR REINIGEN EN ONDERHOUD

Zorg dat u optimaal geniet van uw kampeertrip

door uw tent een keer als proef op te zetten en

uit elkaar te halen, zodat u weet hoe het werkt

voor u hem voor de eerste keer gaat gebruiken.

Er mogen geen insectenbestrijders in of op

de tent gespoten worden. Dit kan de stof en

coating aantasten!

Als u de tent afbreekt en inpakt, moet hij volledig

droog zijn om schimmel/rotten te voorkomen.

Verwijder vuil van de tent met een zachte spons

en schoon zuiver water. Was de tent nooit in een

wasmachine en laat hem nooit reinigen bij de

stomerij.

Berg de tent op een droge plek op.

Let erop dat ultraviolette stralen (UV-stralen) uw

tent beschadigen als hij gedurende langere tijd

blootgesteld wordt aan direct zonlicht.

Can I store my tent when it's wet? Verified

How do I impregnate a tent? Verified

Pitch the tent, clean the cloth and let it dry. Apply the impregnation agent on the cloth with a plant sprayer or other spray. It is also possible to use a paint roller or brush. The cloth needs to be fully saturated with the impregnation agent. Also treat the inside of the tent. Thoroughly clean any windows with a moist cloth. Do not let the impregnation agent dry on it. Let the tent cloth fully dry. Repeat the treatment if needed.

Can I repair a tear or hole in the canvas of my tent myself? Verified

There are special pieces of self-adhesive patches of cloth available for synthetic tent canvases. Stick one of these patches on both sides of the hole or tear. For cotton tent canvases or mixed material tent canvases it's best to use patches that can be ironed on. This will require an iron.

The zipper of my tent won't run smoothly, what can I do? Verified

When a zipper is running smoothly, use a dry PTFE spray or silicone spray. Do not spray onto the cloth and preventively spray to prevent future problems.

What tent pegs are best to use for which surfaces? Verified

On grassland or forest surfaces you can use semi circular or plastic pegs. On rocky surfaces you need to use rock pegs. On clay surfaces you can use semi circular, plastic or universal pegs. On gravel surfaces you need semi circular or universal pegs and on sand you need to use wooden pegs.

The impregnation agent leaves white stains or a white haze on the tent cloth, what can I do about this? Verified

If the agent leaves a white haze or white stains on the tent cloth, this means you have applied more impregnation agent on those areas. This is not harmful and the stains often disappear over time. It is not advisable to use less impregnation agent to prevent stains. The cloth needs to be fully saturated with the impregnation agent to give good results.
