1. GET STARTED
SIMcard,memorycardandbaery
Removethebaerycover
Be careful not to damage your
ngernails when you remove
the baery cover. Do not bend
or twist the baery cover
excessively as it may be
damaged.
Insert the SIM card (required)

Remove the baery if it is
already installed. Insert the
SIM card by gently sliding it
into the holder. Make sure the
contacts are facing
downwards and the cut-o
corner is placed as shown on
the drawing. Take care not to
scratch or bend the contacts
on the SIM card. This device accepts mini SIM or 2FF SIM
card.
If you have problem to remove/replace the SIM card, use
adhesive tape on the exposed part of the SIM card to pull
it out.
InserttheSDcard(oponal)
The device works with or without a SD card.
Locate the SD card holder. Press the card’s lid carefully
to the right unl it “clicks”. Li the lid to an upright
posion. Place the card in the compartment as shown
on the drawing. Make sure the card’s contacts are facing
downwards. Close the lid. Carefully press down and slide
the lid to the le unl it “clicks” into place. Compable card
type: microSD, microSDHC.

the right. Replace the baery

3. CALLS

1. Enter the phone number including the area code.

During a call the selecon buons ( ) give access to
addional funcons.
Owner numbers
The phone number assigned to your SIM card is saved as
Owner number if this is allowed by the card. You can also
select to add addional numbers.
Fixeddial(FDN)
You can limit calls to certain numbers saved on the SIM
card. The list of allowed numbers is protected by your
PIN2-code.
Note! A password is needed to apply xed dial. Contact
your service provider to get the password.
7. CALL LOG
Received, missed, and dialled calls are saved in a combined
call log. 20 calls of each type can be stored in the log. For
mulple calls related to the same number, only the most
recent call is saved.

Charge the phone
CAUTION
Only use baeries, charger and accessories that have
been approved for use with this parcular model.
Connecng other accessories may be dangerous and may
invalidate the phone’s type approval and guarantee.
When the baery is running low, is displayed and a
warning signal is heard.
Connect the mains adapter to a wall socket and to the
charging socket on the phone.
Alternavely connect the cable to the charging socket on
the phone and to a USB port on a computer.
2. GET TO KNOW YOUR PHONE

2. If the SIM card is valid but protected with a PIN code
(Personal Idencaon Number),
Input PIN
is displayed.
Enter the PIN code and press

. Delete with
Clear
.
Note! If PIN and PUK codes were not provided with your
SIM card, please contact your service provider.
Tip: It is recommended to remove the protecve plasc
lm from the display to enhance the visibility.
Remain: #
shows the number of PIN aempts le. When no
more aempts remain,

is displayed. The SIM
card must now be unlocked with the PUK code (Personal
Unblocking Key).

character is shown. Wait a few seconds before entering
the next character.

Volumecontrol
Use the side buons to adjust the sound volume during a
call. The volume level is indicated on the display.
Silent
Silent is a xed prole with keypad tone, message tone and
ring tone disabled.

Phone indicators
LED light on the phone will:
ash green when you have a new message or a missed
call. Aer reading the new message/missed call, the
ashing will stop.
steady green when fully charged
ash red when the baery is running low
steady red when charging.

As long as the phone is switched on, it is always possible
to place an SOS call by entering the main local emergency
number for your present locaon followed by .
