Die Indikator-LED

sitzt (in Fahrtrichtung gesehen) links

unterhalb der Haupt-LED des Rücklichts. Sie ist am besten

zu sehen, wenn man nicht frontal, sondern von der linken

Seite in das Rücklicht blickt.

Grün permanent Akku i.O.

Grüne LED erlischt Akku muss geladen werden

Einige Zeit nach Erlöschen der Indikator-LED schaltet das

Rücklicht automatisch ab, um den Akku vor Tiefentladung

zu schützen.

Montage

Gummigehäuse mit dem EIN/AUS-Symbol nach oben wei-

send an der Sattelstütze ansetzen. Das Rücklicht sitzt

zwar schräg an der Sattelstütze, die Hauptwirkrichtung des

Lichts ist aber trotzdem parallel zur Fahrbahn ausgerichtet.

Gummi-Spannband in den in Fahrtrichtung links sitzenden

Haken des Rücklichts einsetzen, da das Spannband dort ver-

liersicher gehalten wird. Spannband fest um die Sattelstütze

zurren und am rechten Haken einhängen. So justieren, dass

das Rücklicht exakt nach hinten zeigt. Für Sattelstützen mit

Durchmesser 20-35 mm.

Wenn das rote Rücklicht aus dem schwarzen Gummigehäuse

entnommen wurde, muss es so wieder eingesetzt werden,

dass der EIN/AUS-Schalter oben am Rücklicht unter dem

EIN/AUS-Symbol

des Gummigehäuses sitzt.

The indicator LED

is positioned inside the rear light on

the left side (when viewed in driving direction), beneath the

main LED. It can best be seen when looked at from the left,

not frontally.

Some time after the indicator LED extinguishes, the rear

light deactivates automatically to protect the battery

against depth charging.

Mounting

Apply the rubber casing to the seat post with the ON/OFF

symbol pointing upwards. Even though the rear light sits

on the sear post at an angle, the main operating direction

is aligned parallel to the road. Insert rubber mounting strap

into the left clasp for a loss-proof fit of the strap. Firmly pull

the mounting strap around the seat post and hook it into the

right clasp. Adjust the rear light so it points exactly back-

wards. Suitable for seat post diameters 20-35 mm.

When the red rear light is removed from the black rubber

casing, it has to be reinserted with its ON/OFF switch locat-

ed beneath the ON/OFF symbol

on the rubber casing.

Beiliegendes USB-Kabel an die Micro-USB-Buchse des Rück-

lichts

anschließen. Zum Aufladen das USB-Kabel mit dem

gegebenenfalls beiliegenden Netzteil,

mit einem anderen

USB-Standardnetzteil (max. 1000 mA, 5 V)

oder mit einem Computer verbinden.

Während des Ladevorgangs leuchtet die Indikator-LED im

Rücklicht grün. Wenn die LED erlischt, ist der Ladevorgang

abgeschlossen. Ein Überladen ist grundsätzlich nicht mög-

lich, da die Stromzufuhr automatisch abgeschaltet wird.

Für das Aufladen mit fremden Netzteilen kann keine Garan-

tie übernommen werden.

Ladezeiten

Mit Original-Netzteil von Busch & Müller (Art. 447/4N) oder

anderem USB-Netzteil: ca. 2,5 Stunden. Per USB-Anschluss

am Computer kann der Ladevorgang etwa 3-4 Stunden dauern.

Akku laden mit Fahr-Energie

Mit dem E-WERK (Typ 361, Einstellung 4,9 V/1A) oder dem

USB-WERK (Typ 361BW) kann der Strom eines Naben-

dynamos genutzt werden, um das IXXI während der Fahrt

aufzuladen. Bitte beachten Sie, dass während des Ladens

keine Spritz- und Regenwasserdichtigkeit gegeben ist.

Während des Aufladens kann das Rücklicht eingeschaltet

sein. Akku nur bei Temperaturen über 0 °C laden.

Charging the battery

The IXXI has a firmly installed rechargeable lithium battery.

To charge it, fold open the bottom cap on the rear light. Con-

nect the enclosed USB cable to the rear light’s micro-USB

socket

. Connect the USB cable to the IXXI’s mains adap-

tor (if included), to another standard USB mains adaptor

(max. 100 mA, 5 V) or to a computer. During charging, the

indicator LED inside the rear light shines green. When the

LED extinguishes, charging is complete. Overcharging is not

possible, as the power supply is cut off automatically. When

charging with other mains adaptors, no guarantee can be

granted.

Charging time

With original Busch & Müller mains adaptor (ref. 447/4N)

or other standard USB mains adaptors: approx. 2.5 hours

When using a computer’s USB port, charging may take up

to 3 to 4 hours.

Charging the battery using

dynamo power

Using the E-WERK (ref. 361, setting 4.9 V/1A) or the USB-

WERK (ref. 361BW), a hub dynamo’s power can be used

to charge the IXXI while cycling. Please note that during

charging, the rear light is neither splash- nor rainwater-

proof. Only charge at temperatures of at least 0°C.

Hello, everyone, I have a recurring problem with the rear light IXXI. If this light is not used for a longer period of time, 3 - 4 months in summer, the rear light will no longer work. Since this is already the third lamp, I have to say that it will be too expensive in the long run. Quality looks different!
