INSTRUCTIONS
13. It is recommended that guy ropes are pegged
out at all times and windows are opened
whenever possible to allow adequate ventilation.

angle
3. Unzip the triangle Valve Cover on
the right hand side of the tent and
locate the AERO-FRAME valves.
1. Clear your site making sure there are no sharp
objects where you are going to pitch your tent. Try
to get a site that is as flat as possible. Spread tent
out, the PVC windows are located at the front.
2. Peg out the 4 peg points on the main body of the
tent as shown.
4. Remove the valves completely and re-screw in to ensure the valve is not
cross-threaded. Screw in firmly but do not over tighten. Open the valve caps.
5. The pump features a double hose adapter
which allows two tubes to be inflated at the
same time.
Ensure the pump is configured as per the
following diagram.
Attach the of the hoses to the AERO-FRAME
valve inlets.
6. Begin to inflate the centre and rear AERO-FRAME. Have
someone walk inside to help raise the frame during inflation.
Inflate to 7 PSI.
DO NOT INFLATE ABOVE 8PSI. THIS MAY CAUSE DAMAGE TO
THE POLES AND THE TENT.
7. Once inflated to the correct pressure, remove the pump hoses and securely attach
the valve caps. Close the Valve Cover.
8. Remove the double adapter and attach
one hose directly to the pressure gauge as
shown.
9. Inflate the front awning
AERO-FRAME following the
previous procedure, then remove
the hose and securely attach the
valve cap.
10. Peg out the remaining peg points around
the tent ensuring that the floor sits flat. It is
easier to align the front door correctly with
the door closed.
11. Peg out the front and rear anchor
webbings. These should sit at a 45
o
angle to the
ground.
DEFLATION
1. Remove the valves from the AERO-FRAME. Take care as poles will be under
pressure.
2. It may be necessary to remove some excess air from the AERO-FRAME
before rolling up your tent. This can be done by carefully walking down the
length of the tube towards the valve end.

12. Peg out the 2 draft vents on either side of
the bedrooms. These can be pegged closed
during cooler weather conditions.

Can I store my tent when it's wet? Verified

Only for very short periods of time. When a tent is stored while wet for a week or longer, it can get moldy. This is harmful for your tent and possibly your health.

How do I impregnate a tent? Verified

Pitch the tent, clean the cloth and let it dry. Apply the impregnation agent on the cloth with a plant sprayer or other spray. It is also possible to use a paint roller or brush. The cloth needs to be fully saturated with the impregnation agent. Also treat the inside of the tent. Thoroughly clean any windows with a moist cloth. Do not let the impregnation agent dry on it. Let the tent cloth fully dry. Repeat the treatment if needed.

Can I repair a tear or hole in the canvas of my tent myself? Verified

There are special pieces of self-adhesive patches of cloth available for synthetic tent canvases. Stick one of these patches on both sides of the hole or tear. For cotton tent canvases or mixed material tent canvases it's best to use patches that can be ironed on. This will require an iron.

When a zipper is running smoothly, use a dry PTFE spray or silicone spray. Do not spray onto the cloth and preventively spray to prevent future problems.

What tent pegs are best to use for which surfaces? Verified

On grassland or forest surfaces you can use semi circular or plastic pegs. On rocky surfaces you need to use rock pegs. On clay surfaces you can use semi circular, plastic or universal pegs. On gravel surfaces you need semi circular or universal pegs and on sand you need to use wooden pegs.

The impregnation agent leaves white stains or a white haze on the tent cloth, what can I do about this? Verified

If the agent leaves a white haze or white stains on the tent cloth, this means you have applied more impregnation agent on those areas. This is not harmful and the stains often disappear over time. It is not advisable to use less impregnation agent to prevent stains. The cloth needs to be fully saturated with the impregnation agent to give good results.
