1. SELECT A FUNCTION
To select a function, turn the selection knob to the symbol for
the function you require.
USING THE OVEN FIRST TIME DAILY USE
Using the oven
! The first time you use your appliance, heat the
empty oven with its door closed at its maximum
temperature for at least half an hour. Ensure that the
room is well ventilated before switching the oven off
and opening the oven door. The appliance may emit
a slightly unpleasant odour caused by protective
substances used during the manufacturing process
burning away.
1. Select the desired cooking mode by turning the
SELECTOR knob.
2. Select the recommended temperature for the
cooking mode or the desired temperature by turning
the THERMOSTAT knob.
A list detailing cooking modes and suggested
cooking temperatures can be found in the relevant
table (
see Oven cooking advice table
).
During cooking it is always possible to:
Change the cooking mode by turning the SELECTOR knob.
Change the temperature by turning the THERMOSTAT knob.
Set the total cooking time and the cooking end time.
Stop cooking by turning the SELECTOR knob to the
the “0” position.
THERMOSTAT INDICATOR LIGHT
OVEN LIGHT
This is switched on by turning the SELECTOR knob to any
position other that "0". It remains lit as long as the oven is
operating. By selecting with the knob, the light is switched
on without any of the heating elements being activated.
When this is illuminated, the oven is generating heat. It
switches off when the inside of the oven reaches the
selected temperature. At this point the light illuminates
and switches off alternately, indicating that the
thermostat is working and is maintaining the temperature
at constant level.

! Never put objects directly on the bottom of the oven;
this will avoid the enamel coating being damaged.
! Always place cookware on the rack(s) provided.
The functions provide excellent results thanks to the addition of
steam in cooking cycles. Only when the oven is cold, pour drinking
water on the bottom of the oven and select the specific function for
your preparation. The optimal water quantities and temperatures for
each food category are listed in the relative cooking table.
Do not preheat the oven before inserting food.
LIGHT/FAST PREHEAT
For switching one the oven light.
For preheating the oven quickly.
CONVENTIONAL
For cooking any kind of dish one one shelf only.
CONVENTIONAL BAKE
To cook on a maximum of two shelves at the same time.
It is a good idea to swap the position of the baking trays
halfway through cooking. This function enables you to
cook different foods (such as fish and vegetables) on
different shelves at the same time.
GRILL
For grilling steaks, kebabs and sausages, cooking
vegetables au gratin or toasting bread. When grilling
meat, we recommend using a drip tray to collect the
cooking juices: Position the pan on any of the levels
below the wire shelf and add 200 ml of drinking water.
TURBO GRILL
For roasting large joints of meat (legs, roast beef,
chicken). We recommend using a drip tray to collect the
cooking juices: Position the pan on any of the levels
below the wire shelf and add 200ml of drinking water.
BOTTOM
This function can be used to finish cooking filled pies or
to thicken soups. Use this function for the last 10/15
minutes of cooking.
DEFROST
For accelerating the defrosting of food.
BOTTOM HEATING+FAN
To finish cooking food with a very liquid consistency and
to obtain crisp, golden bases. Also useful for thickening
sauces. Place food on the 2nd shelf. The oven does not
have to be preheated.
STEAM
The functions provide excellent results thanks to the
addition of steam in cooking cycles. Only when the oven
is cold, pour drinking water on the bottom of the oven
and select the specific function for your preparation.

food category are listed in the relative cooking table. Do
not preheat the oven before inserting food.
FORCED AIR
For
cooking different foods on multiple shelves
at the same time. This function can be used to cook
different foods without odors being transferred from
one food to another.
