Innan montering av boxen:

Takboxen passar alla lasthållare med rör som är max 82

mm breda och mellan 18-35 mm höga.

Börja med att montera lasthållaren enligt anvisningar

från lasthållartillverkaren och biltillverkaren.

Mellanrummet mellan lasthållarrören skall vara mellan

540 mm och 990 mm. Om boxen monteras på rör med T-

profil, tex Thule Aero Bar, finns speciella adapterpaket.

Dessa kan köpas hos närmsta Thule återförsäljare, eller

direkt från tillverkaren.

Montering av boxen:

Placera boxen mitt på lasthållarrören. Se till att boxen

”pekar rakt fram”, dvs är parallell med bilens färdrikt-

ning. Om bilen är en kombi eller halvkombi, placera

boxen på ett sådant sätt att bakluckan kan öppnas utan

att slå i boxen.

Av säkerhetsskäl måste boxen vara monterad så att den

kan lastas i och ur från passagerarsidan. Man ska kunna

stå på trottoaren/vägrenen när boxen lastas!

När boxen placerats korrekt på lasthållaren enligt ovan

nämnda kriterier, sätt fast boxen på lasthållaren enligt

beskrivning nedan.

Ocean 80

Stick U-bygeln underifrån, runt last bågen, ge nom de

be ﬁ nt li ga hålen i boxens botten.

Placera adaptern på U-bygelns gängade delar som

sticker upp genom bo xens bot ten. Drag sedan fast med

rat tar na.

Drag rattarna för hand. För att vara säker på att bo xen

sit ter säkert, skall åt dra gnings mo men tet uppgå till

2-2,5 Nm, vil ket låter sig göras utan någon hjälp av

verk tyg.

Se till att U-byglarna har monterats lika.

Ocean 100, 200, 500, 600, 700

Din takbox är utrustad med snabbfästen, som

möjliggör montering utan verktyg. Det finns fyra

grupper av hål i botten på boxen. Placera boxen så att

lasthållarrören är mittemellan två hål. Inifrån boxen

sticker man igenom de utskjutande hålen på snabbfästet

och den förmonterade gummiplattan tills det snäpper

till, så att hålen hamnar på var sin sida om lasthållarröret.

Dra upp den röda säkringen tills den snäpper till.

Vrid sedan det blå handtaget motsols till öppnat läge.

Sätt in U-bygeln underifrån i de två hålen.

Tryck sedan samtidigt upp U-bygeln och vrid det

blå handtaget medsols till stängt läge. Det blå hand-

taget och den svarta underdelen på snabbfästet måste

vara parallella. Tryck sedan ner den röda säkringen tills

den snäpper i.

Gör likadant med alla fyra snabbfästena. Om det är

omöjligt att fixera boxen vid lasthållaren, kontrollera

hela monteringsproceduren från början.

Ur säkerhetssynpunkt får boxen EJ användas om

snabbfästet inte är korrekt monterat eller de röda

säkringarna inte har snäppt i ordentligt. Boxen kan

då glida av lasthållaren under färd och orsaka en

allvarlig olycka!

Öppna hål

De bottenhål som förblivit öppna efter mon tering tät as

med de medföljande själv häftan de täck plat tor na.

Lastning av takboxen

Den maximala lastvikten för er box är 50 kg. Övers krid

Fördela lasten jämnt i boxen, enligt beskrivining och

be ak ta den stäng da boxens lasthöjd.

Fastspänning av boxens last

Lasten måste säkras med passande spänn band

(In går i vis sa boxtyper, men kan också köpas som

till be hör.)

Om ni transporterar skidor, måste dessa spännas fast

med pas san de spännband och/eller skid hål la re. (In går i

vissa box ty per, men kan också köpas som till be hör).
