• To perfom a tax calculation, first it is absolutely necessary to set and check the
tax rate. (The initial tax rate is 0.)

• A tax rate can be set (or changed) with a number containing up to four digits.
(Decimal point is not regarded as a digit.)
• Eine Steuerrate mit bis zu vier Stellen kann eingegeben (oder geändert) werden.

• Un taux de taxe peut être établi (ou modifié) avec un nombre contenant jusqu’à

DEC SET
• F: Floating decimal point. The decimal point moves according to calculation
results. Digits that cannot be displayed are rounded off.
2: Two digits are displayed right of the decimal point. The digit in the third
decimal place is rounded up if it is 5 or larger and rounded off if 4 or smaller.
0: Decimal digits are not displayed. The digit in the first decimal place is rounded
up if it is 5 or larger and rounded off if 4 or smaller.
• F: Gleitpunkt: Der Dezimalpunkt verschiebt sich entsprechend dem
Rechenergebnis. Nicht darstellbare Stellen werden abgerundet

• F: Virgola mobile. La virgola dei decimali si sposta in funzione dei risultati di
calcolo. Le cifre che non possono essere visualizzate vengono arrotondate.

• The set tax rate is retained until it is changed. However, the set tax rate may be
changed or lost if the battery is consumed largely.

A battery in my device is oxidized, can I still safely use it? Verified
Ja, the device can still be safely used. Firstly, remove the oxidizd battery. Never use bare hands to do this. Then clean the battery compartment with a cotton swab dipped in vinegar or lemon juice. Let it dry and insert new batteries.
