Applying the brace

It is best to put on the brace when sitting. To achieve optimal support, the brace

should be applied as tautly as possible, but without being restrictive.

Image 1: Open the brace and place it on the knee so that the patella ring is

positioned exactly over the kneecap. Slightly bend the knee and close the middle

Velcro fastener.

Images 2 and 3: Close the top and bottom Velcro fasteners.

Images 4 and 5: Pull the bottom stabilisation strap around the back of the knee

and brace and pull it through the buckle opening before securing it with the Velc-

ro fastener. Repeat in exactly the same way with the upper stabilisation strap.

A: Patella ring

B: Middle Velcro fastener

C: Top Velcro fastener

D: Bottom Velcro fastener

E: Buckle for the stabilisation strap

Tukisiteen paikoilleen asettaminen

Paikoilleen asettaminen onnistuu parhaiten istuttaessa. Parhaan tuen saa, kun

tukiside laitetaan mahdollisimman tiukkaan kuitenkaan kiristämättä.

Kuva 1: Avaa tukiside ja laita se polveen niin, että polvilumpioaukko on

tarkalleen polvilumpion kohdalla. Sulje keskimmäinen tarranauha, kun olet

taivuttanut polvea hieman.

Kuva 2 ja 3: Kiinnitä ylempi ja alempi tarranauha.

Kuva 4 ja 5: Laita ensin alempi tukinauha takaa polven ja tukisiteen ympärille

ja vie se sen jälkeen soljen aukon läpi ja kiinnitä se lopuksi tarranauhalla. Tee

samoin ylemmällä tukinauhalla.

B: keskimmäinen tarranauha

C: ylempi tarranauha

D: alempi tarranauha

E: tukinauhan solki
