Instructions for use
SECUMAR 17 Rescue Buoy
Read the instructions for use carefully before mounting and using. Store the instructions in

Important Notes
The Rescue Buoy SECUMAR 17 acts as a help to prevent the wearer

tion in water. It is not to be used as a lifejacket in accordance to EN 395!
CAUTION: Full performance (turning in the back inclined position) may not be achieved if
wearing certain clothing. Any use of this rescue buoy requires detailed knowledge of this

Application, Use
Usually the rescue buoy will be mounted to a on board bracket. Throw the rescue buoy to

How often should I replace my life jacket? Verified

The lifespan of a life jacket depends on factors such as the type of jacket, frequency of use, and storage conditions. It is important to inspect your life jacket regularly for any signs of wear or damage.
