NOTE: If you cannot determine what type of fabric an item

is made of, test the item by ironing a small section on an inside seam.

2. Insert the plug into the wall outlet. The Power ‘On’ Light

at the top of the handle will illuminate.

3. The Temperature Control Display will light up and all the fabric

temperature settings will appear as shown below (Ill. 3).

After 3 seconds the Velvet setting (lowest setting) will flash

in the display window. Press the ‘+’ Temperature Control Button

to increase the temperature. The selected fabric will flash until

the soleplate has reached the selected setting. The Iron will

beep and ’TEMP OK’ will appear in the display window when

the iron is at the selected setting.

If you wish to select a lower ironing temperature, press the ‘-‘ Temperature

Control Button to reduce the temperature. The newly selected fabric

setting will blink in the display window. When the soleplate temperature

has reduced to the new setting, the iron will beep and ‘TEMP OK’ will

appear in the display window.

Automatic Safety Shut-Off

If the iron is left motionless while standing on it’s heel, the iron will beep

and shut-off automatically in 10 minutes. If the iron has been knocked on

it’s side or left on the soleplate the iron will beep and shut-off automatically

in 30 seconds. NOTE: The iron will continue to emit a warning every

30 seconds until it is unplugged from the wall outlet.

Dry Ironing

1. Follow steps 1 - 3 in the ‘Setting the Temperature’ section.

2. Slide the Variable Steam Control to the DRY position ( ). This will

shut off the flow of steam if there is any water in the Reservoir.

NOTE: If

you are dry-ironing for longer than 20 minutes, the Water Reservoir should

be emptied to prevent overheating of any remaining water.

3. To use the Mist while dry-ironing, ensure that there is sufficient water

in the Water Reservoir. Press the Spray Mist Button to dampen the fabric

while ironing.
