Question: I found Russell Hobbs customer service useless; I want to know when, in the basic program, the 2nd rise begins. This will enable me to remove the paddle before the bake. The paddle stays in situ throughout the bake, and when you remove the finished loaf from the tin the paddle absolutely wrecks the base of the loaf. I have contacted RH about this, they will not share this info. If anyone DOES know, please share - also does anyone have a good olive bread recipe for this machine? Cheers, Tone

Shame you didn’t have any luck with RH cust services. I have had to accept that I have to have a fight with the bread to get the paddle out now but as you say, it wrecks the base of the loaf. I’m hoping someone has an answer to your question - waiting eagerly otherwise I think I’ll look at buying from a different manufacturer.
