Smart Touch Water Dispenser #601242 B275
The clean, modern silhouette of the Smart Touch Water Dispenser perfectly complements your kitchen and lifestyle. Welcome to smart
and simple design, where with the light touch of a button, you can dispense three temperatures of water. Cold, hot or cool – you choose
whatever temperature you need.
CONVENIENCE SWITCHES – On/off switches for heating and
cooling are located on the back of the dispenser.
COLD WATER ICON – Touch to unlock, then touch dispense control
to dispense cold water. For non-stop dispensing, touch and hold
icon for three seconds. Dispense control will flash. Touch dispense
control to start dispensing, touch again to stop. Light illuminates
green when water is cooling. Light turns off when water is fully chilled.
COOL WATER ICON – Touch to unlock, then touch dispense control
to dispense cool water. For non-stop dispensing, touch and hold icon
for three seconds.
HEATING ICON – Touch and continuously hold to unlock and touch
dispense control to dispense hot water. Release dispense control to
stop dispensing. Light illuminates red when water is heating. Light
turns off when water is fully heated. (NOTE: As a child safety feature,
holding both the touch dispense control and the heating icon is
required at all times when dispensing hot water)
DISPENSE CONTROL – Touch to dispense hot or cold water after
hot or cold control has been unlocked. Release to stop dispensing.
Touch and hold cool or cold water icon for three seconds for
non-stop dispensing. Dispense control will flash. Touch dispense
control to start dispensing, touch again to stop.
EMPTY BOTTLE LIGHT – Blinks orange when the bottle is empty
and needs to be replaced.
PROBE ASSEMBLY – Probe pumps water from the bottle into the
hot and cold tanks.
PROBE HANGER – Rest probe assembly on the hanger (located
inside the cabinet door) to keep it clean while replacing bottles.
DRIP TRAY – Removable and dishwasher-safe.
WATER BOTTLE – Not included. Uses 3 and 5-gallon bottles.

WARNINGS & SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
To reduce risk of injury and property damage, user must read this entire guide
before assembling, installing & operating dispenser.
Failure to execute the instructions in this manual can cause personal injury or
property damage. Models that heat water dispense at very high temperatures.
Failure to use properly can cause personal injury.
When operating this dispenser, always exercise basic safety precautions,
including the following:
• Prior to use, this dispenser must be properly assembled and installed
in accordance with this manual.
• This dispenser is intended for water dispensing only. Do NOT use other
liquids. Do NOT use for other purposes. Never use any liquid in the dispenser
other than known and microbiologically safe bottled water.
• For indoor use only. Keep water dispenser in a dry place away from
direct sunlight. Do NOT use outdoors.
• Install and use only on a hard, flat and level surface.
• Do NOT place dispenser into an enclosed space or cabinet.
• Do NOT operate dispenser in the presence of explosive fumes.
• Position back of dispenser no closer than 4 inches from wall and
permit free airflow between wall and dispenser. There must be at least
4 inches clearance on the sides of the dispenser to permit airflow.
• The dispenser is intended to be plugged into a ground fault interrupting
receptacle.
• Do not use an extension cord with your water dispenser.
• Always grasp plug and pull straight out from outlet. Never unplug by
pulling on power cord.
• Do NOT use dispenser if cord becomes frayed or otherwise damaged.
• To protect against electric shock, do NOT immerse cord, plug, or any
other part of dispenser in water or other liquids.
• Ensure dispenser is unplugged prior to cleaning.
• Never allow children to dispense hot water without proper and direct
supervision. Unplug unit to prevent unsupervised use by children.
• Do not dispense hot water if water bottle is empty.

INTERRUPTORES PRÁCTICOS – Los interruptores de encendido y

del dispensador.
ÍCONO DE AGUA FRÍA – Presione para desbloquear, luego presione
el control del suministro para dispensar agua fría. Para dispensar agua

control del suministro para detenerlo. Se ilumina una luz roja cuando el agua
se está calentando. La luz se apaga cuando el agua está totalmente caliente.
(NOTA: como medida de protección infantil, es necesario presionar el control
del suministro táctil y el ícono para calentar al mismo tiempo cuando se
dispensa agua caliente).
CONTROL DEL SUMINISTRO – Presione para dispensar agua caliente
o fría luego de desbloquear el control de agua caliente o fría. Libere el botón
para detener el suministro. Presione y sostenga el ícono de agua fría o
caliente por tres segundos para dispensar agua continuamente. El control del
suministro brillará en forma intermitente. Presione el control del suministro
para comenzar a dispensar agua; presiónelo nuevamente para detenerlo.
LUZ DE BOTELLÓN VACÍO – Titila en color naranja cuando el botellón
está vacío y se lo debe reemplazar.
CONJUNTO DEL TUBO SURTIDOR – El tubo surtidor bombea agua
desde el botellón hacia los tanques de agua caliente y fría.
COLGADOR DEL TUBO SURTIDOR – Coloque el tubo surtidor en el
colgador (ubicado dentro de la puerta del gabinete) para mantenerlo limpio
cuando cambie el botellón.
BANDEJA DE GOTEO – Extraíble y puede lavarse en el lavaplatos.
BOTELLÓN CON AGUA – No incluido. Utiliza botellones de 3 y 5 galones.

ADVERTENCIAS Y PRECAUCIONES DE SEGURIDAD

El uso inapropiado puede causar lesiones personales.
Al operar este dispensador, siempre siga las precauciones básicas de seguridad, entre
las cuales están las siguientes:
•
Antes de usarlo, este dispensador debe estar ensamblado e instalado correctamente
según las instrucciones de este manual.
•
Este dispensador está diseñado para dispensar agua solamente. NO lo use con otros
líquidos. NO lo use para otros propósitos. Nunca use ningún otro líquido en este
dispensador que no sea agua embotellada conocida y microbiológicamente segura.
•
Sólo debe usarse en interiores. Mantenga el dispensador de agua en un lugar seco
lejos de la luz solar directa. NO lo use en exteriores.
• Instálelo y úselo solamente sobre una superficie dura, plana y nivelada.
• NO coloque el dispensador en un espacio cerrado ni gabinete.
• NO opere el dispensador en presencia de vapores explosivos.
• Coloque la parte trasera del dispensador a una distancia de por lo menos 4 pulgadas
(10 cm) de la pared y permita que circule el aire entre la pared y el dispensador. Debe
haber por lo menos un espacio de 4 pulgadas a cada lado del dispensador para permitir
el flujo de aire.
• El dispensador está diseñado para enchufarse en un enchufe con circuito de falla a
tierra.
• No use una extensión eléctrica con el dispensador de agua.
• Siempre jale el enchufe para desconectarlo del tomacorriente. Nunca desenchufe
jalando el cordón eléctrico.
• NO use el dispensador si el cordón eléctrico está gastado o dañado.
