Safety Instructions
WARNING - This appliance is intended for use in
a domestic environment.
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed:
1. Check the household voltage to ensure it matches the
appliance’s rated specification.
2. Extreme care should be taken when any product is used by, or
near children or individuals with certain disabilities. Keep out of
reach of children when not in use.
3. Before operating your Corkscrew/Preserver remove the unit
from its packaging and charge the unit for at least 16 hours.
4. Never force the corkscrew onto a bottle or attempt to speed
up the mechanism. The Corkscrew will work best at its intended
speed.
5. Do not let children play with the packaging, for example the
plastic bags.
6. Do not operate any product with a damaged cord or plug.
7. Do not attempt to open bottles if the switch is not working
correctly.
8. If your Corkscrew/Preserver malfunctions or is damaged in any
manner return the Corkscrew to an authorised service facility
for examination and repair to avoid a hazard.
9. Do not attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical
functions on this unit as this may void warranty.
10. Always unplug the charger if you do not intend to use your
Corkscrew/Preserver for a long period. To disconnect from the
power supply, grip the adaptor and pull from the power socket.
Never pull by the cord.
11. This product is not intended for use in wet or damp locations.
12. Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or
counter. Arrange the power cord away from any area where
it may be tripped over.
13. Never place the Corkscrew/Preserver or charger where it may
fall into a sink or other water container.
14. When not in use always store in a dry area.
15. Do not place the unit in a dish washer.
16. Do not place the corkscrew on or near an open flame, cooking
or heating appliance or a hot surface.
17. Use only with the adaptor supplied.
18. This product contains no serviceable parts.

Battery & Disposal Information
♦ This Corkscrew contains rechargeable batteries. Before you
dispose of your Corkscrew you must remove the batteries and
dispose of them responsibly.
♦ To take out the battery pack,
remove the screws from the
rear cover.
♦ Carefully ease the two covers
apart, please note, there are
springs inside your Corkscrew
that will move once the covers
are parted but normally stay
inside the product.
♦ Unplug the leads from the battery pack (Fig 6) and remove it
from your Corkscrew.
♦ Dispose of the rechargeable battery pack and product
responsibly.
♦ Do not mix products bearing the crossed out bin
symbol with your general household waste.
♦ For the correct collection and treatment of these products
take them to collection points designated by your local
authority. Alternatively, contact the store which sold you the
product.
Rechargeable Lithium-ion Battery Warnings
♦ The rechargeable Lithium-ion battery contained in this
product may explode if disposed of in a fire.
♦ Do not charge the battery used in this equipment with any
other charger than the one provided with the product. Using
another charger may damage the battery or cause the
battery to explode.
♦ This product is not waterproof. To reduce the risk of fire,
electrical shock or damage, DO NOT expose the unit to rain
or moisture.
Service & Warranty
♦ This product is guaranteed free from defects in materials and
workmanship for a period of one (1) year. Proof of purchase
is required to validate the guarantee.
♦ Should this unit be operated under conditions other than those
recommended, at voltages other than the voltage indicated
on the unit, or any attempts made to service or modify the
unit, this will render this WARRANTY VOID.
♦ This guarantee is no longer valid if the damage has been
caused by fall, alteration or repair by any unauthorised
persons or if the product has been resold.
♦ The product you buy may sometimes differ slightly from
illustration.
♦ This warranty is in addition to, and does
not affect, your statutory rights.

The cork broke in the bottle, what should I do? Verified
Try to carefully screw the corkscrew in the remaining part of the cork and remove it. It's possible that pieces of the cork have fallen into the wine. These can be removed by pouring the wine through a sieve.
