NL Bij elk ring en pin systeem (het bevestigingpunt voor de tentstokken) zit een stelband.

Maak deze zo ver mogelijk los.

EN Each ring-and-pin system (the attachment point for the tent poles) has an adjustment

strap. Loosen these straps as much as possible.

DE An jedem Ring- und Stiftsystem (der Befestigungspunkt für die Zeltstangen) beﬁndet

sich ein Verstellband. Dieses so weit wie möglich lockern.

FR Chaque système « ring & pin » (le point de ﬁxation des tiges) est doté de bretelles.

Détendez-les au maximum.

Steek de deels gekleurde stokken 20 cm in de buitenste stoksleuven en trek vervolgens

de stoksleuf over de stok. Doe vervolgens hetzelfde met de overgebleven stokken.

EN Slide the partly coloured poles 20cm into the outermost pole sleeves and then pull the

sleeve over the pole. Then do the same with the remaining poles.

NL Pak een van de stokken en schuif hem in de pin aan de ene kant van de tent. Buig

vervolgens de stok zodat de pin aan de andere zijde in de stok gestoken kan worden.

Doe dit vervolgens bij de andere stokken. Let op dat de banden niet gedraaid zitten.

EN Insert one of the poles into the pin on one side of the tent and bend the pole so that it

can be inserted into the pin on the other side. Then do this with the other poles. Make

sure the straps are not twisted.

DE Eine der Stangen in den Stift an der einen Zeltseite schieben. Dann die Stange so

biegen, dass der Stift an der anderen Seite in die Stange gesteckt werden kann. Auf

dieselbe Weise mit den anderen Stangen verfahren. Darauf achten, dass die Bänder

nicht verdreht sind.

FR Prenez l’une des tiges et insérez-la dans la goupille d’un côté de la tente. Pliez ensuite

la tige pour y insérer la goupille de l’autre côté. Faites pareil pour les autres tiges. At-

tention à ce que les bretelles ne soient pas tordues.

NL Trek, als alle stokken in de pinnen zitten, de stelbanden aan.

EN When all the poles are in the pins, tighten the adjustment straps.

DE Wenn alle Stangen in den Stiften stecken, die Verstellbänder anziehen.

FR Lorsque toutes les tiges sont logées dans les goupilles, tendez les bretelles.

NL Zet de tent rechtop en zet deze aan de achterkant en voorkant vast met haringen.

De tent hoeft nog niet helemaal strak te staan.

EN Stand the tent upright and peg it down at the back and the front. The tent does not

need to be completely taut just yet.

DE Das Zelt gerade aufrichten und an der Rück- und Vorderseite mit Heringen befestigen.

Das Zelt braucht noch nicht ganz gespannt zu sein.

groundsheet which side must face downwards.

How do I impregnate a tent? Verified

Pitch the tent, clean the cloth and let it dry. Apply the impregnation agent on the cloth with a plant sprayer or other spray. It is also possible to use a paint roller or brush. The cloth needs to be fully saturated with the impregnation agent. Also treat the inside of the tent. Thoroughly clean any windows with a moist cloth. Do not let the impregnation agent dry on it. Let the tent cloth fully dry. Repeat the treatment if needed.

Can I repair a tear or hole in the canvas of my tent myself? Verified

There are special pieces of self-adhesive patches of cloth available for synthetic tent canvases. Stick one of these patches on both sides of the hole or tear. For cotton tent canvases or mixed material tent canvases it's best to use patches that can be ironed on. This will require an iron.

The zipper of my tent won't run smoothly, what can I do? Verified

When a zipper is running smoothly, use a dry PTFE spray or silicone spray. Do not spray onto the cloth and preventively spray to prevent future problems.

On grassland or forest surfaces you can use semi circular or plastic pegs. On rocky surfaces you need to use rock pegs. On clay surfaces you can use semi circular, plastic or universal pegs. On gravel surfaces you need semi circular or universal pegs and on sand you need to use wooden pegs.

The impregnation agent leaves white stains or a white haze on the tent cloth, what can I do about this? Verified

If the agent leaves a white haze or white stains on the tent cloth, this means you have applied more impregnation agent on those areas. This is not harmful and the stains often disappear over time. It is not advisable to use less impregnation agent to prevent stains. The cloth needs to be fully saturated with the impregnation agent to give good results.
