Energy saving tips
To avoid unnecessarily long drying ti
-
mes and high consumption of energy:
Make sure that your laundry is tho
-
roughly spun before drying.
The higher the spin, the greater the
savings that can be made in energy
and time during drying.
Load according to the optimum
amount of laundry recommended for
the programme being used (see Pro
-
gramme chart).
Underloading is uneconomical.
Overloading gives a poorer quality of
drying and may cause unnecessary
creasing.
Make sure the room in which the dry-
er is located is well ventilated.
Make sure the fluff filters are clean
before using the dryer.
Check the condenser unit from time
to time and clean it when necessary.

Can I stack my dryer and washing machine? Verified

In general it is possible to directly stack a dryer and washing machine directly on top of each other. This only works with front loading models. However, it is advisable to use a fitting accessory to do so. This will prevent the machines from vibrating and falling off and also prevents damage to the bottom machine.

Can I connect a dryer to an extension cord? Verified

Appliances that require large amounts of power, like a dryer, can not be connected to all extension cords. See what the power usage of the dryer is, which is indicated in Watt, and check if the extension cord can handle this. There are extension cords with thicker cables that are made to handle larger appliances.

What is the difference in usage between a washer-dryer and a separate washing machine and dryer? Verified

The biggest advantage of a washer-dryer is that it takes less space. However, a separate dryer will be able to dry more than a washer-dryer. A washer-dryer also uses relatively more energy and requires more time.

My Miele dryer displays "0", what does that mean? Verified

This happens when a cycle is started with no or too little clothes in the machine. It's also possible that the clothes were already dry when they were placed in the machine. A cycle with (almost) no clothes can damage the machine. If these are not the causes you should contact the manufacturer.
