Locking the Jug to the Base Unit
Place the jug on the base. The
jug will t only one way round.
Turn the jug clockwise to lock,
the triangle on the handle
bottom should be aligned with
the lock symbol marked on
the base. You will hear a click
to indicate the jug is locked to
the base.
To unlock, turn the jug anti-
clockwise.
The jug must be secured and locked to the base,
otherwise the blender will not operate!
Operation
1. Make sure the jug and the lid are secure and locked in place.
2. Set the Speed Selector to ‘0’.
3. Plug your blender into the mains socket.
Operation Mode
Continuous
(Normal)
operation
Select the desired operating speed.
There are 2 speeds.
Move the Speed Selector progressively
to the right to increase the speed.
When you start blending use a low
speed to begin with and gradually
increase the speed if necessary.
To stop the operation, turn the Speed
Selector back to ‘0’.
Pulsed operation Use this mode when ingredients need to
be blended in small repeated bursts.
Turn the Speed Selector to ‘P’ and hold
it there for a short period of time.
To stop the operation, release the Speed
Selector which will then automatically
return to ‘0’.

Cleaning the blade assembly
1. Hold the jug handle with one hand and with the other hand
rotate the blade assembly to detach it from the jug.
2. Wash it under running water. You can also remove the rubber
seal ring from the blade assembly to clean (if applicable).
Handle blades with care especially during cleaning as
they are extremely sharp!
If the rubber seal ring in the blade assembly is also
taken out to clean, make sure to re-assemble it back
properly in place to avoid leakage (if applicable).
Cleaning the base
Ensure the blender is unplugged from the mains socket.
Wipe the outer surface of the base with a damp cloth. Never
use abrasive cleaners or scouring creams.
Never immerse the base in water when cleaning.
Storage
After all the components have been washed and dried, re-
assemble the blender and store it out of direct sunlight and out of
the reach of children.
Always unplug the appliance and let it cool down
before cleaning.
After Use
After you have nished blending:
1. Set the Speed Selector to ‘0’.
2. Unplug the blender from the mains socket.
3. Hold the jug by the handle and carefully turn it anti-clockwise
to release it. (This may be easier with one hand on the base and
one hand holding the jug handle).
4. To pour out the contents, rotate the lid of the jug anti-
clockwise to free it and then lift o the lid. Pour or spoon out
the contents carefully.
Cleaning and Storage
Cleaning the jug
1. Pour about 500ml of warm soapy water into the jug and place
the jug on the base.
2. Turn and hold the Speed Selector to ‘P for a few seconds to
loosen any food particles and free them from the blades.
Remove the jug, pour away the water and rinse in fresh
running water. Repeat steps 1 and 2 with fresh water.
Alternatively the jug may be immersed in warm soapy
water and cleaned using a long handled brush.
DO NOT wash the jug or attachments in a dishwasher.
Do not run the appliance continuously for more
than 3 minutes. After a full 3 minute cycle allow the
blender to rest for 1 minute before using it again.
Never blend very hot liquids in the blender. This is
dangerous as the contents may erupt.
If you spill liquid on the base immediately switch o
and wipe dry.
During blending, you can feed in small amounts of food or liquid
through the lid. To do this:
1. Hold the lid.
2. Turn the stopper slowly to free it and then lift it out.
3. Gradually feed pieces of food or liquids into the jug.
4. Fit the stopper back when you have nished.

Wash the lid and stopper separately in warm soapy water,
rinse and allow to dry.
