Vor dem ersten Gebrauch Ihres Drucktopfes machen Sie sich mit den folgenden Anweisungen

vertraut.

Der Drucktopf und sein Deckel müssen unbedingt nach jedem Gebrauch gründlich gereinigt

werden.

Prüfen Sie die Sicherheitselemente vor jedem Gebrauch auf einwandfreien Zustand

(Druckregelventil, Sicherheitsventil und Verriegelungsdichtung).

Personen, die mit dem Gebrauch dieses Drucktopfes nicht vertraut sind, sollte dessen Benutzung

nicht gestattet werden.

Lassen Sie beim Gebrauch des Topfes besondere Vorsicht walten, wenn Kinder in der Nähe sind.

Dieser Drucktopf darf nur für das Schnellkochen verwendet werden; dafür wurde er konstruiert. Er

kann auch als "normaler" Topf benutzt werden, allerdings nur OHNE Deckel. Bitte stellen Sie ihn

unter keinen Umständen in den Mikrowellenofen.

Der Drucktopf sollte auf einer für seine Größe geeigneten Wärmequelle stehen. Wenn Sie die

Kochstelle zum Aufheizen auf die höchste Stufe schalten, behalten Sie immer ihrem Drucktopf im

Auge. Eine zu starke Gasflamme kann beispielsweise die Griffe beschädigen.

Berühren Sie den Topf während der Kochzeit nicht, sie könnten sich schwer verbrennen. Auch ein

noch heißer Topf sollte nur unter größter Vorsicht berührt und an den Griffen erfasst werden, nicht

am Deckelgriff.

Dieser Drucktopf darf niemals ohne Flüssigkeit benutzt werden, er würde unwiederbringlich bes-

chädigt.

Der Topf sollte folgende Mindestflüssigkeitsmengen enthalten:

Bitte füllen Sie den Topf nicht über 2/3 seines Fassungsvermögens, oder wenn Sie Gerichte garen,

die sich ausdehnen oder stark schäumen (beispielsweise Reis oder Hülsenfrüchte) höchstens bis

zur Hälfte des Fassungsvermögens.

Gerichte dieser Art werden besser ohne Deckel zum Kochen gebracht, um zunächst zu entschäu-

men, bevor der Deckel aufgesetzt wird.

Unter Druck darf der Topf keinesfalls zum Braten oder Anbraten mit Fett oder Öl verwendet

werden.

Wurst beispielsweise im Kunstdarm muss vor dem Garen perforiert werden. Sonst dehnt sie sich

unter Druck aus und kann platzen. Einige Spritzer davon können möglicherweise Verbrennungen

verursachen.
