- On the underside of the round "computer case" there is a countersunk screw in the middle (1-2 finger's width below the spiral cable entry): loosen this screw - on the front, lift the square display out of the housing (if necessary, slide a finger through the spiral cable entry to nudge it from below) - The battery compartment (2 x AA) is located on the back of the display.
