2. It is the responsibility of the owner to ensure that all the users of the Magnetic Rower are informed of the contents
of these instructions and precautions. Use the Rower only as described in this manual.
3. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliances by a person responsible for their safety.
4. Use the Rower indoors on a level surface. Keep the Rower away from moisture and dust. Place a mat under the
Rower to protect the floor or carpet - we recommend using the Interlocking Floor Mats sold by Shop Direct to reduce
shock and transmitted noise.
5. Inspect and tighten all parts regularly. Replace any worn parts immediately. Do not use until worn parts are
replaced.
6. Keep children under the age of 14 and pets away from the equipment at all times. The Rower is designed for
adult use only.
7. Persons weighing more than 100kg (16 stone) should not use the Rower.
8. Wear appropriate clothing when exercising. Avoid loose clothing that could get caught in the mechanism. Always
wear athletic shoes when using the Rower.
9. If you feel faint or dizzy while exercising stop immediately and cool down.
10. The Rower is intended for in-home use only. Do not use the Rower in a commercial, rental, or institutional setting.
11. This Rower is tested to EN 957-1 and EN 957-7, class H for home-use with a maximum user weight of 120kg
(18 stone) and is suitable for normal domestic use at home. Do not use this item in any other way than described
in this manual.
12. The Rower must only be used where there is a minimum of 1 metre clear space behind 1 meter clear space
either side.
13. The Rower must only be used by competent adults who sit fully on the seat, place their feet onto the footplates
and their hands on the handgrips. The user’s feet should be strapped into the footplates for security.
WARNING: Misuse of this product may result in serious injury. Read this user's manual and follow all warnings and
instructions before operating this equipment. Never allow children to play on or around this equipment.
WARNING: Before beginning this or any exercise program, consult your family doctor. This is especially important
for people over the age of 35, people with pre-existing health problems or those returning to exercise after some time.
