1. Kies de juiste tent haringen

Belangrijk: Verschillende grondsoorten vereisen verschillende soorten haringen (plastic

voor klei; metaal voor harde grond met veel stenen; hout voor zanderige ondergrond). Uw

Eureka! tent bevat 1 soort top kwaliteit haringen voor algemeen gebruik. Wanneer u op

diverse grondsoorten verwacht te kamperen tijdens uw vakantie(s), schaft u dan vooraf de

benodigde haringen aan bij uw dealer of outdoor shop.

2. Opzetten vóór vertrek

Om alvast bekend te raken met uw nieuwe tent, raden wij u aan deze eerst een keer op te

zetten.

Opzet instructies

Belangrijk: Plaats de tent op een droge, vlakke plaats en zorg dat deze vrij is van stenen,

takjes en andere oneffenheden die de tent kunnen beschadigen. Zorg ervoor dat het

terrein over voldoende drainage beschikt om het regenwater weg te voeren van de tent. U

kunt de levensduur van uw tent verlengen door een plekje in de schaduw te zoeken.

1. Rol de tent af en spreidt de buitentent uit op de grond met de gaaszijde boven.

2. Zet de stokken in elkaar en zorg ervoor dat alle segmenten volledig aansluiten om

stokbreuk te voorkomen.

3. Schuif de stokken nu door de tentstoksleuven aan de buitenkant van de buitentent

(Duw de stokken altijd door de sleuven om te zorgen dat alle segmenten goed

aansluiten en stokbreuk, bij het op spanning brengen, te voorkomen.) De twee lange

stokken door de voorste stoksleuven, de korte stok door de achterste. De tent ligt nu

plat op de grond, met de tentstokken door de sleuven (tunnels).

4. Steek aan één zijde van de tent de uiteinden van de tentstokken in de ringetjes. Ga

naar de andere zijde van de tent, buig de tentstokken zodat zij een boog vormen en

steek de uiteinden van de tentstokken in de ringetjes. De tent ligt nu nog steeds plat,

maar alle tentstokken vormen nu een boog.

5. Zet de tent op de hoeken aan de slaapzijde, vast met twee haringen. Til de tentbogen

op en trek ze uit, zodat de tent wordt uitgevouwen. Zet de tent aan de andere kant

ook vast met 2 haringen.

6. Span nu de tent af, door de tent vast te zetten met haringen bij elk uiteinde

van een tentstok. Als het hard waait, bevestig dan ook de scheerlijnen aan

de tent en zet deze vast met haringen, om de tent te stabiliseren.

7. De binnentent is al aan de buitentent bevestigd. U kunt eenvoudig een kids-

room of een slaapcabine toevoegen door deze in de buitentent te hangen.

Bij het afbreken/ opbergen van de tent hoeft de binnentent niet losgemaakt

te worden van de buitentent

Tentonderhoud

Wij raden u aan om, voor het eerste gebruik, de uitgebreide garantie en

tentonderhoud instructies door te lezen.

 Vloerbescherming: Wij adviseren altijd een grondzeil te gebruiken, om

vervuiling te voorkomen. Het grondzeil zou aan beide kanten 10cm korter

moeten zijn dan het oppervlak van de tentvloer. Probeer verder zoveel

mogelijk zand uit de tent te houden. Het beschadigt de waterdichte coating

van het grondzeil door het schuren

 Schadelijke stoffen: Brandstoffen en DEET, een stof die in veel

insectenwerende middelen voorkomt, kunnen het materiaal van tenten

beschadigen of zelfs vernietigen.

 UV-straling: Zelfs moderne tentstoffen zijn niet geheel bestand tegen de

invloeden van UV-straling. Dit betekent dat indien zij voor langere tijd aan

het zonlicht worden blootgesteld (direct of indirect door de reflectie via

water of sneeuw), het materiaal eerst zal verbleken en uiteindelijk zou

kunnen vergaan.

 Reinigen: Reinig de tentstof, stokken en ritsen na ieder gebruik met schoon

handwarm water. Gebruik nooit schoonmaakmiddelen, wasmachines of

drogers (zie ook de tent onderhoud instructies).

 Naadonderhoud: De belangrijkste naden zijn reeds gesealed met tape.

Mochten deze toch onverhoopt losgaan, dicht deze naden dan met seam

sealer. Seamsealer is verkrijgbaar bij uw dealer.

 Bewaren van de tent. Bewaar uw tent op een droge en koele plaats. Als u

de tent nat in het foedraal opbergt, kan (zelfs in korte tijd) schimmelvorming

en daardoor aantasting van de coating ontstaan. Indien u de tent moet

afbreken tijdens regen of wanneer deze nog niet geheel droog is, droog hem

dan ZO SPOEDIG MOGELIJK!
