APPLICATIONS:
This immersible min/max thermometer is ideal for laboratory, field, and process
measurements. Temperature is one of the most critical measurements for any
laboratory. Our thermometers are manufactured by an ISO accredited facility
with the calibration service standards directly traceable to the National Institute
of Standards and Technology (NIST).

The 11047 and 11048 thermometer is fully sealed against water and can
also be used for all food service applications including testing of frozen and
cooked products. Thermometer has a 200 mm (aprox. 8”) long Stainless
Steel probe, F/C switchable ranges and a one-second display update.
Includes a protective case with pocket clip and a battery.
OPERATION:
• Power On/Off - Press [On/Off] button to switch unit on or off.
• °C / °F Switchable - Press [°C/°F] button to change temperature scale.
• Min/Max Reading Memory
1) Press [Min/Max] button to display maximum temperature.
2) Press the button again to display minimum temperature.
3) Press the button again to return to current temperature.
4) Switch the thermometer off and on to clear the memory reading to current
temperature.
CAUTION: Do not expose unit to temperatures over 190°F (88°C) or
use in ovens or other heating equipment. Damage may result. Only
the sensor tip can be exposed over 190°F (88°C). When replacing
battery, make sure all screws are tightened after opening back to insure
waterproof integrity.
CALIBRATION AND CERTIFICATION SERVICES
Calibration by comparison to N.I.S.T. traceable instruments:
Our measurement instruments are certified against National Institute for
Standards and Technology (N.I.S.T.) by a Primary Standards Laboratory.
Calibrations are performed in accordance with national systems guidelines:
MIL-STD-4566A or ANSI/NCSL Z540-1 and ISO-10012
Service includes: Unit battery change, a N.I.S.T. Traceable Calibration
Certificate, a sticker with calibration information for annual maintenance, a
complementary advisory notification when calibration is due and guaranteed
5 business day turnaround.
