INSTRUCTIONS DE MONTAGE DE LA TENTE
Avant de commencer
Lisez toutes les instructions avant d’entreprendre le montage.
Choisissez l’emplacement où vous monterez votre tente: plat,
sans pierres, branches ou autres objets pointus.
AVERTISSEMENT: Éloignez la tente des lignes électriques
aériennes.
Ne montez pas la tente sous les arbres afin d’éviter les risques
de foudroiement ou de branches qui tombent par gros temps.
Immobilisez la tente avec tous les piquets et haubans prévus
pour éviter les dommages matériels et les blessures corporelles.
Pour obtenir les résultats optimaux quand il y a du vent, mettez
la partie la plus étroite de la tente au vent.
À deux ou plus, c’est mieux – demandez à une ou à plusieurs
personnes de vous aider à assembler la tente.

Assemblage des mâts de
support
Introduisez les mâts du toit et les mâts de support dans les
raccords. (Fig. 3 et 4)
Insérez la cheville dans chaque mât de support. (Fig. 5)

Attachez la toile aux mâts de
support avec les crochets
Fixez les crochets des bords de la toile aux mâts de
support. (Fig. 6)
Ajustez les piquets de la tente, si nécessaire.

Disposition et positionnement
de la tente et des mâts
Étalez la tente en orientant l’entrée dans la direction
désirée. (Fig. 1)
Ancrez les coins en passant les piquets dans les bagues. (Fig. 2)
Gardez le tapis de sol parfaitement tendu.
Ancrez alors la tente aux bagues de piquets restantes.
Assemblez les mâts en dépliant puis en emboîtant leurs sections
solidarisées.
Insérer les perches supérieures dans les fourreaux.

• Étalez le double toit sur la tente intérieure. (Fig. 7 and 8)
Relier les boucles élastiques avec crochets en «S» (se trouvant aux
coins et sur les côtés du double toit) aux anneaux se trouvant aux coins
et sur les côtés de la tente (fig. 9).
• Immobilisez le double toit avec les sangles prévues à cet effet sur la
face envers du double toit. (Fig. 10)
• Attachez et ancrez les haubans. (Fig. 8)
CONSEIL PRATIQUE: Lors du montage, gardez la glissière de l’entrée
fermée afin que la toile soit bien tendue.

How do I impregnate a tent? Verified

Pitch the tent, clean the cloth and let it dry. Apply the impregnation agent on the cloth with a plant sprayer or other spray. It is also possible to use a paint roller or brush. The cloth needs to be fully saturated with the impregnation agent. Also treat the inside of the tent. Thoroughly clean any windows with a moist cloth. Do not let the impregnation agent dry on it. Let the tent cloth fully dry. Repeat the treatment if needed.

Can I repair a tear or hole in the canvas of my tent myself? Verified

There are special pieces of self-adhesive patches of cloth available for synthetic tent canvases. Stick one of these patches on both sides of the hole or tear. For cotton tent canvases or mixed material tent canvases it's best to use patches that can be ironed on. This will require an iron.

When a zipper is running smoothly, use a dry PTFE spray or silicone spray. Do not spray onto the cloth and preventively spray to prevent future problems.

What tent pegs are best to use for which surfaces? Verified

On grassland or forest surfaces you can use semi circular or plastic pegs. On rocky surfaces you need to use rock pegs. On clay surfaces you can use semi circular, plastic or universal pegs. On gravel surfaces you need semi circular or universal pegs and on sand you need to use wooden pegs.

The impregnation agent leaves white stains or a white haze on the tent cloth, what can I do about this? Verified

If the agent leaves a white haze or white stains on the tent cloth, this means you have applied more impregnation agent on those areas. This is not harmful and the stains often disappear over time. It is not advisable to use less impregnation agent to prevent stains. The cloth needs to be fully saturated with the impregnation agent to give good results.
