BRIO Caro i bilen

BRIO Caro er godkendt som

”universal” autostol i henhold til ECE

R44/04, europæisk standard og kan

anvendes i de este biler. Bilen skal

være udstyret med en 3 pkt. sele, der

er godkendt efter ECE R16 eller anden

europæiske godkendelse. Visse biler

kan dog være udstyret således, at det

ikke er muligt at anvende autostolen.

BRIO Caro vil passe i bilen, hvis

der i bilens manual står skrevet, at

universale autostole, til en bestemt

aldersgruppe, kan placeres i bilen. Er

BRIO Caro autostol/selepude

BRIO Caro er godkendt til brug som

autostol med ryg for børn mellem 15

– 36 kg og op til 150 cm. Anvend ikke

BRIO Caro til børn under 15 kg.

development of this product have

worked on child safety research for

more than 20 years. Our goal has been

to produce a seat that oers a high

level of safety, comfort and that is user-

friendly, easy to understand and easy to

use correctly way.

This product meets the most stringent

requirements set to child’s seats. Our

group closely follows international

work, in which new ndings in research

and development are presented and

discussed. It is important that you

take the time to read and follow the

instructions for how to use your BRIO

Caro seat. Incorrect installation/use

may partially or completely remove its

protective properties.

Read through the instructions for use

carefully and save them for future

reference. If the instructions are not

followed your child may be seriously

injured. Only use original accessories

that have been approved by the

manufacturer. Do not alter the product.

If you nd any problems or have any

questions, please contact your retailer

who will help you from there.

BRIO Caro and the car

BRIO Caro is “universally” approved

according to the latest regulations laid

down in ECE R44/04, the European

standard for child car seats and can be

used in most cars that are tted with

approved three-point safety belts, xed

or inertia reel, in accordance with ECE

Reg 16, or equivalent standards.

Do remember that in certain vehicles

there can be some forms of non-

conformance that make it dicult to

use the seat. If you are in doubt, please

contact your retailer.

BRIO Caro Safety car seat/Car seat

cushion

Brio Caro has been approved for

children who weigh from 15-36 kg,

and measure up to 150 cm. Never use

BRIO Caro for children who weigh less

than 15 kg.

It is especially important that for small

children, between 15 and 25 kg (3_ - 7

years old), you should use Caro with a

backrest in order to get a proper belt

geometry. Use Caro with the backrest

as long as possible.

Caro car seat cushion, without the

backrest, is approved for children from

15 - 36 kg.

BRIO Caro ist gemäß der aktuellsten

europäischen Norm für Autokindersitze

ECE R44/04 nach Kategorie „Universal“

zugelassen und darf in den meisten

Fahrzeugen verwendet werden, welche

über nach ECE-Reglement Nr. 16 oder

gleichwertigen Normen genehmigte

feste oder mit Gurtstraern ausgerüstete

3-Punkt-Gurte verfügen.

Beachten Sie jedoch, dass gewisse

Fahrzeuge Abweichungen aufweisen,

This partially depends on the car, but generally speaking the middle of the back seat is the safest place. Here the child is as far away as possible from the sides and thus best protected in case of an accident. However this only the case if there is a full 3-point seatbelt. If there is only a lap belt available it is safer to use a back window seat.

No, there are universal and non-universal Isofix car seats. A non-universal Isofix car seat can only be used in designated cars. The seat comes with a list a car models that are suited for use with that seat. A universal Isofix car seat can only be used in cars that are equipped with Isofix and a Top Tether attachment point.

Don't let your child sit in a car seat for longer than 1,5 to 2 hours a day. Many modern strollers offer the option to attach the car seat on top, allowing quick transportation of your child. Also in that case, don't exceed 1,5 to 2 hours a day.

What is Isofix? Verified

Isofix is an internationally standardised system for mountiung car seats in cars. There are Isofix mounting brackets in the car. These brackets are located between the backrest and the seat of the back seat and are connected to the car body. The Isofix car seat is equipped with hooks that can be easily attached to the mounting brackets.
