I switched on the dehumidifier at about 10pm as usual but by 8am next morning it had stopped and was making a regular quiet "beep" noise. The electric supply was normal, the discharge hose still connected, and the filter was clear and clean. Un-plugging it and trying it again lead to same issue. It will not re-start. Nothing in the Manual Troubleshooting Guide mentions this, and no Error warnings show on the display. Any suggestions as to how to fix this and get it working again, please?

When I plug the dehumidifier into the socket there is a "beep", the screen shows that drop of water with 60% and the sign of the fan, then the screen closes. But when I press the start button of the dehumidifier, it does not start. Can someone tell me if it's somehow broken or if I have to do something?

I have just purchased this dehumidifier after having a shower leakage, to dry out walls and floor. Could you please tell me: 1. Which way should the dehumidifier be facing the wet wall - the filter side or the other side? 2. Should the clothes icon be showing on the led control panel when used for drying walls - my husband says the fan speed if faster with this, and therefore collecting more water - is this correct? What is the best setting to collect water from the walls and floor? Thank you
