VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN - Gebruik

• Gebruik het apparaat nooit buitenshuis.

• Gebruik het apparaat nooit in vochtige ruimten.

• Plaats het apparaat op een stabiele en vlakke ondergrond, op een plaats

waar het niet kan vallen.

• Laat het snoer niet over de rand van het aanrecht, werkblad of een tafel

hangen.

• Zorg ervoor dat uw handen droog zijn als u het apparaat, het snoer of de

stekker aanraakt.

• Schakel het apparaat uit en verwijder de stekker uit het stopcontact als u

tijdens het gebruik storingen ondervindt, het apparaat gaat reinigen, een

accessoire aanbrengt of verwijdert, of klaar bent met het

gebruik.

• Laat het apparaat nooit onbeheerd achter als het in gebruik is.

• Verplaats het apparaat nooit als het is ingeschakeld of nog warm is.

Schakel het apparaat eerst uit en verplaats het pas als het is afgekoeld.

• Zet het apparaat nooit aan zonder de minimaal benodigde hoeveelheid

fondueolie (0,45 liter) of andere substantie waarmee u fonduet.

• Gebruik alleen olie die geschikt is voor fonduen. Vermijd het gebruik van

normale margarine of boter. U kunt ook fonduen met kaas of bouillon.

• Houd de pan alleen vast bij de handvatten. De metalen delen waarmee de

handvatten aan de pan vastzitten kunnen zeer heet zijn.

• Gebruik alleen metalen hulpmiddelen met een goed warmte-isolerend

handvat in de fondue-olie. Raak de metalen delen van de vorkprikkers

niet aan tijdens het fonduen: deze kunnen zo heet zijn als de olie.

• Zorg ervoor dat de producten goed droog zijn voordat u ze fonduet.

Vochtige producten kunnen de hete olie hevig doen opspatten.

• Wees uiterst voorzichtig bij het vullen en legen van de fonduepan. De

binnenzijde van de anti-spatrand en de pan zijn erg heet en de hete damp,

vet- of oliespetters kunnen brandwonden veroorzaken.

• Verwijder of plaats de anti-spatrand niet als de pan heet is.

• Mors geen hete olie op de verwarmingsplaat. Dit zal gaan walmen en

stankoverlast geven. Olie die langs de pan loopt komt in de goot rondom

de verwarmingsplaat.

• Pak het apparaat niet op wanneer het in het water is gevallen. Trek direct

de stekker uit het stopcontact. Gebruik het apparaat niet meer.

• Maak het apparaat na gebruik grondig schoon (zie ‘Reiniging en

onderhoud’).

• Dompel het apparaat, het snoer en de stekker nooit onder in water of een
