Allgemein:

Das digitale Alecto Badethermometer

ermöglicht Ihnen nicht nur die präzise

Messung der Badewassertemperatur,

sondern auch der Umgebungstemperatur.

Temperatur:

Die angenehmste Badetemperatur für Ihr Kind beträgt

normalerweise 36°C - 38°C.

Temperatur messen:

1. Klopfen Sie das Thermometer auf die Handäche, um

es einzuschalten. Das Display zeigt die Temperatur in

°C an. Wenn die Temperatur zu niedrig ist, erscheint

das Symbol KALT.

2. Tauchen Sie das Badethermometer in das Wasser,

während Sie die Badewanne füllen.

3. Belassen Sie das Thermometer im Wasser, bis ‘X’ °C

stabil bleibt. Jetzt können Sie die Temperatur im Display

ablesen.

4. Das Thermometer schaltet nach einer Stunde

automatisch ab.

5. Das Thermometer reinigen und aufbewahren.

Alarm bei niedriger Temperatur:

Bei Temperaturen von 32°C oder niedriger erscheint

am Display.

Alarm bei hoher Temperatur:

Bei Temperaturen von 39°C oder höher zeigt das Display

eine blinkende -Temperatur an. Die integrierte LED

fängt an rot zu blinken.

Stromversorgung:

Das Thermometer ist mit einer langlebigen Knopfzellenbat-

terie ausgestattet. Die Batterie hat eine Lebensdauer von

ca. einem Jahr bei einer täglichen Messung von einer

Stunde.

Batterie austauschen:

Sie können die Batterie folgendermaßen austauschen:

Drehen Sie mit einer Münze den Batteriedeckel gegen den

Uhrzeigersinn. Stecken Sie einen kleinen Schraubendreher

in die Aussparung, um den Deckel zu entfernen. Installieren

Sie eine neue Batterie (CR2032) mit der positiven Seite

nach oben. Legen Sie den Deckel wieder auf und drehen

Sie mit einer Münze den Deckel im Uhrzeigersinn.

Reinigung und Wartung:

• Nach jedem Gebrauch reinigen Sie den Metal-

lkontakt des Thermometers mit einem weichen,

feuchten Tuch oder spülen ihn mit Wasser ab.

• Das Thermometer niemals abkochen, niemals im

Geschirrspüler spülen, niemals in eine Mikrowelle

oder einen Hochfrequenz-Sterilisationsofen legen

und niemals mit chemischen Reinigungslösungen

reinigen.

• Das Thermometer niemals hohen Temperaturen

aussetzen.

• Die Thermometer niemals unter direkter Son-

neneinstrahlung oder in der Nähe von Heizgeräten

aufbewahren.

In Wasser verwenden, wo Kinder stehen

können und von Erwachsenen beaufsichtigt

werden.

Am Ende seiner Lebensdauer darf dieses

General:

The Alecto Digital Bath Thermometer allows

you to not only easily, quickly and accurately

measure the temperature of the bathing water,

but also the environmental temperature.

Temperature:

The temperature of the most pleasant bath for your child is

usually between 36.0°C and 38.0°C.

To measure the temperature:

1. Tap the thermometer on a flat hand to switch it on. The

display will indicate the temperature in °C. If the tem-

perature is too low, the COLD icon will appear.

2. Immerse the bath thermometer into the water while

filling the bathtub.

3. Leave the thermometer in its place until ‘X °C’ remains

stable. You may now read the temperature in the

display.

4. The thermometer switches off automatically after an

hour.

5. Clean and store the thermometer.

Battery:

A long-life buttoncell is already installed in the thermometer.

This battery will power the thermometer for up to 24.000

measurements (calculated with an average of 30 seconds

per measurement).

Low temperature alert:

For temperatures of 32°C and lower, will appear

in the display.

High temperature alert:

For temperatures of 39°C and higher, the display will indi-

cate a flashing - temperature. The built-in LED will

start flashing in red.

Power supply

The thermometer is provided with a long-life coin cell bat-

tery. This battery lasts for approximately one year when

performing a daily measurement of one hour.

To replace the battery:

You may replace the battery as follows:

Use a coin to rotate the battery cover anti-clockwise.

Insert a small screwdriver into the cut-out to remove the

cover. Install a new battery (CR2032) with the positive side

up. Replace the cover and use a coin to rotate the cover

clockwise.

NOTE: See figure 1 for waterproof insert battery cover.

Cleaning & maintenance:

• After each use, clean the metal contact of the thermo-

meter with a soft, moist cloth or rinse in water.

• Never boil off the thermometer, never wash it in a

dishwasher, never place it into a microwave or high-

frequency sterilisation oven and never clean it with

chemical cleaning solutions.

• Never expose the thermometer to high temperatures.

• Never store the thermometer in direct sunlight or near

heating equipment.

Use in water in which children can stand up

and under adult supervision.

At the end of its lifespan, this product may

not be discarded as regular household

waste. It must be brought to a collection

facility for the recycling of electric and

This bath thermometer reacts very slowly to temperature changes, it takes about 10 seconds. It is handy that the red light starts flashing when the water is too hot, but when you add cold water it keeps flashing for a long time and suddenly it shows, for example, 35 degrees, so the bath is too cold again. Also when you "stir" the water by hand to mix. Particularly annoying. I do not recommend this product. The baby also finds it a nice teething toy for in the bath.
