TENT PITCHING INSTRUCTIONS CAIRNGORM (EN)
Flysheet First Pitching
1. Assemble poles and lay them on the ground
2. Open flysheet on ground and position in desired direction. Check internal
TBS cords are un-tensioned and flysheet door is closed.
3. Locate pole sleeve on outside of flysheet and insert the large main pole.
4. Locate one end of pole into corresponding eyelet on pole anchor strap.
5. Push pole into an arch from opposite side and locate pole tip into eyelet.
6. Tighten the pole sleeve tension strap (to the right of the door) to remove slack in the pole sleeve.
7. Insert short poles into webbing pockets at each end of the tent. The smooth dome pole tip inserts into the webbing pocket underneath the vent;
locking tip is inserted into the eyelet at the base of the flysheet.
8. Peg the two main pole anchor straps.
9. Peg each of the guylines at the end of the tent and adjust until the flysheet is taut.
10. Peg the four corners of the tent and tighten the cord adjuster to suit
Inner Attachment
1. Open out inner tent inside flysheet and position so that doorways on inner and flysheet line up.
2. Suspend the inner by attaching toggles of inner tent through rings on inside of flysheet
3. If necessary, insert TBS cords through access points in inner tent (ceiling and sidewall) and connect into side-release buckles.
Tension Band System
1. Insert tension bands through corresponding access points in the inner tent (ceiling and sidewall). Connect the straps into the side-release
buckles.
2. Adjust the tension of the TBS straps until the slack is taken out

AUFBAUANLEITUNG CAIRNGORM (DE)
Mit Außenzeltaufbau zuerst
1. Stecken Sie die Stangen zusammen und legen Sie sie auf den Boden
2. Breiten Sie das Vordach auf dem Boden aus und positionieren Sie es in der gewünschten Richtung. Prüfen Sie, ob die inneren TBS-Schnüre
keine Spannung aufweisen, und dass die Tür des Überdachs geschlossen ist.
3. Fixieren Sie die die schwarze Stangenhülle an der Außenseite des Überdachs und führen Sie die große Hauptstange ein.
4. Fixieren Sie ein Ende der Stange in die dazu passende Öse in der Verankerungsschnur der Stange.
5. Drücken Sie die Stange von der gegenüberliegenden Seite gewölbeförmig hoch und fixieren Sie die Stangenspitze in der Öse.
6. Ziehen Sie die Spannschnur der Stangenhülle fest (zur rechten Seite der Tür hin), um lockere Stellen in der Stangenhülle zu entfernen.
7. Führen Sie die kurzen Stangen in die Verschlussbandtaschen an jedem Ende des Zeltes ein. Die weiche Spitze der Dachstange wird in die
Verschlussbandtasche unter der Lüftungsöffnung gesteckt; die Arretierspitze wird in die Öse des Bodens des Überdachs gesteckt.
8. Befestigen Sie die zwei Verankerungsschnüre der Hauptstange.
9. Befestigen Sie jede der Spannschnüre am Ende des Zeltes und spannen Sie sie, bis das Überdach gespannt ist.
10. Stecken Sie die vier Ecken des Zelts aus und ziehen Sie den Schnurspanner passend fest.
Innenbefestigung
1. Breiten Sie das Innenzelt im Inneren des Überdachs aus und positionieren Sie es so, dass die Türöffnungen des Innenzelts und des Überdachs
deckungsgleich sind.
2. Die Aufhängung des Innenzelts erfolgt, indem die Knebel des Innenzelts durch die auf der Innenseite des Außenzelts befindlichen Ringe gesteckt
werden.
3. Falls notwendig, ziehen Sie die Spannschnüre durch die Zugangspunkte im Innenzelt (Decke und Seitenwand) und verbinden Sie sie mit den
Steckschnallen.
Spanngurtvorrichtung
1. Ziehen Sie die Spannschnüre durch die zugehörigen Zugangspunkte im Innenzelt (Decke und Seitenwand). Verbinden Sie die Schnüre mit den
seitlichen Freigabespangen.
2. Passen Sie die Spannung der TBS-Schnüre an, bis das Zelt gespannt ist.

INSTRUCTIONS DE MONTAGE CAIRNGORM (FR)
Montage en commençant par le double toit
1. Rassembler les arceaux et les poser sur le sol
2. Ouvrir le double toit sur le sol et le positionner dans la direction désirée. Vérifier que les cordons TBS intérieurs ne sont pas tendus, et que la
porte du double toit est fermée.
3. Placer le fourreau d'arceau noir à l'extérieur du double toit et insérer le grand arceau principal.
4. Placer une extrémité de l'arceau à l'intérieur de l'oeillet correspondant, sur la bande d'ancrage de l'arceau.
5. Pousser l'arceau à l'intérieur d'une arche, depuis le côté opposé, et placer la pointe de l'arceau dans l'oeillet.
6. Resserrer la tension de la sangle du fourreau d'arceau (à droite de la porte) pour supprimer le flottement dans le fourreau d'arceau.
7. Insérer les arceaux courts dans les poches sanglées, à chaque extrémité de la tente. Le dôme lisse formé par le bout de l'arceau s'insère à
l'intérieur de la poche sanglée, sous la fente ; le bout sanglé est alors inséré dans l'oeillet, à la base du double toit.
8. Fixer les bandes d'ancrage des deux arceaux principaux.
9. Fixer chaque corde de tension aux extrémités de la tente et ajuster jusqu'à ce que le double toit soit tendu.
10. Fixer les quatre coins de la tente et resserrer le système de réglage du cordon, autant que nécessaire.
Attacher la tente antérieure
1. Ouvrir la tente intérieure, à l'intérieur du double toit et positionner la porte, pour qu'elle soit alignée avec celle du double toit.
2. Faire pendre la tente intérieure en attachant les crochets de celle-ci aux anneaux intérieurs du double toit
3. Si nécessaire, fixer les cordes TBS aux points d'accès, dans la tente intérieure (plafond et pan de mur) et les relier aux boucles détachables.

How do I impregnate a tent? Verified

Pitch the tent, clean the cloth and let it dry. Apply the impregnation agent on the cloth with a plant sprayer or other spray. It is also possible to use a paint roller or brush. The cloth needs to be fully saturated with the impregnation agent. Also treat the inside of the tent. Thoroughly clean any windows with a moist cloth. Do not let the impregnation agent dry on it. Let the tent cloth fully dry. Repeat the treatment if needed.

Can I repair a tear or hole in the canvas of my tent myself? Verified

There are special pieces of self-adhesive patches of cloth available for synthetic tent canvases. Stick one of these patches on both sides of the hole or tear. For cotton tent canvases or mixed material tent canvases it's best to use patches that can be ironed on. This will require an iron.

The impregnation agent leaves white stains or a white haze on the tent cloth, what can I do about this? Verified

If the agent leaves a white haze or white stains on the tent cloth, this means you have applied more impregnation agent on those areas. This is not harmful and the stains often disappear over time. It is not advisable to use less impregnation agent to prevent stains. The cloth needs to be fully saturated with the impregnation agent to give good results.
