1) DESEMPAQUE

Arme las 2 secciones de postes. Ahora abra y extienda la tienda en el piso, tire las esquinas hasta que quede total-

mente extendida. Extienda por separado el toldo

2) ENSAMBLADO

LOS POSTES SE CRUZAN EN 2 PUNTOS FORMANDO 2 “X”. Es más sencillo armar su tienda cuando ambas

secciones de postes se encuentran totalmente en las mangas. Al principio inserte solo una porción (30-40 cms.) de

cada sección de postes en las mangas de la tienda, esto le dará una mejor idea de la posición final en que deberán

quedar los postes. Ya que ambas secciones de postes estén parcialmente en las mangas, deslice totalmente una

sección de postes a través de las mangas. Repita esta operación con la otra sección de postes hasta que todos los

extremos de los postes queden en sus respectivas esquinas.

3) INSTALACIÓN DEL TOLDO

Coloque el toldo sobre la tienda. Localice los vestíbulos del toldo y colóquelos sobre la entrada de la tienda.

Asegure cada esquina del toldo en cada esquina de la tienda.

4) PARA GUARDAR SU TIENDA

Remueva los postes del toldo de su tienda. Remueva el toldo. Antes de guardar el toldo sacúdalo bien y en caso

de que este húmedo, séquelo antes de guardarlo. No doble el toldo de la misma forma siempre, esto puede oca-

sionar marcas permanentes en el material. Cierre las puertas de la tienda. Remueva las 2 secciones de postes de

la tienda, doble las secciones de postes. Antes de guardar su tienda sacúdala bien y en caso de que este húmeda,

séquela antes de guardarla. No doble la tienda de la misma forma siempre, esto puede ocasionar marcas perman-

entes en el material.

5) INFORMACIÓN ADICIONAL

Asegúrese de fijar su tienda al suelo especialmente cuando hace viento. Si va a dejar su campamento asegúrese

de fijarla con estacas, previendo un clima con viento o brisa fuerte. Siempre acampe a una distancia prudente de

cualquier fogata. El viento puede mover una tienda que no esta fija al suelo y ocasionar un incendio. Evite alinear su

tienda con la dirección del viento y una fogata. Pequeñas chispas o brasas o pueden causar perforaciones y daños

a su tienda. Le recomendamos practique el armado de su tienda antes de salir a acampar.

6) MOHO

El moho se puede formar en unos días en cualquier tienda que se enrolle y guarde sin secarse previamente. El

moho puede causar daños a la tela de su tienda de campaña, al sellador y además de manchar la tela. Estas man-

chas no se pueden quitar. Antes de guardar su tienda séquela completamente para evitar daños por moho.

7) ADVERTENCIA

Las telas de las tiendas de STANSPORT están tratadas con retardantes al fuego. Por su seguridad le recomenda-

mos NO usar fuego en o cerca de su tienda de campaña.

No utilice lumbre cerca o dentro de su tienda de campaña.

Can I store my tent when it's wet? Verified

How do I impregnate a tent? Verified

Pitch the tent, clean the cloth and let it dry. Apply the impregnation agent on the cloth with a plant sprayer or other spray. It is also possible to use a paint roller or brush. The cloth needs to be fully saturated with the impregnation agent. Also treat the inside of the tent. Thoroughly clean any windows with a moist cloth. Do not let the impregnation agent dry on it. Let the tent cloth fully dry. Repeat the treatment if needed.

Can I repair a tear or hole in the canvas of my tent myself? Verified

There are special pieces of self-adhesive patches of cloth available for synthetic tent canvases. Stick one of these patches on both sides of the hole or tear. For cotton tent canvases or mixed material tent canvases it's best to use patches that can be ironed on. This will require an iron.

The zipper of my tent won't run smoothly, what can I do? Verified

When a zipper is running smoothly, use a dry PTFE spray or silicone spray. Do not spray onto the cloth and preventively spray to prevent future problems.

No, this is probably condensation. Make sure the tent is properly ventilated to keep condensation at a minimum.

What tent pegs are best to use for which surfaces? Verified

On grassland or forest surfaces you can use semi circular or plastic pegs. On rocky surfaces you need to use rock pegs. On clay surfaces you can use semi circular, plastic or universal pegs. On gravel surfaces you need semi circular or universal pegs and on sand you need to use wooden pegs.

The impregnation agent leaves white stains or a white haze on the tent cloth, what can I do about this? Verified

If the agent leaves a white haze or white stains on the tent cloth, this means you have applied more impregnation agent on those areas. This is not harmful and the stains often disappear over time. It is not advisable to use less impregnation agent to prevent stains. The cloth needs to be fully saturated with the impregnation agent to give good results.
