TENT PITCHING INSTRUCTIONS TALAS 100, 200 & 300(UK)
FLYSHEET FIRST PITCHING:
Open out flysheet and position so that the inner doorway and the flysheet doorway
correspond
A number of hook and loop strips are located on the underside of the flysheet.
These must be secured to around the poles of the inner tent
Peg down each side of flysheet through the shock-cord pegging points, adjacent
to the metal rings of the inner tent. Use the pin-pegs supplied
Pull porch taut, away from main body of tent and peg down the corners of the
porch.
Peg out the rear point of the flysheet.
Peg out ALL guy lines using pin-pegs ensuring that guy line fabric attachment points are evenly tensioned.
INNER FIRST PITCHING:
Assemble the 2 poles ( 1 long and 1 short) and lay them parallel on the ground.
Open out inner and position in required direction.
Insert the poles through the pole sleeves on the outside of the inner
Locate one end of each pole on one side of inner into the metal pin system at the end of the pole sleeves. Push poles into an arch from
opposite ends and locate pole ends into corresponding metal pin.
Peg the rear point of the inner tent.
Carefully extend the tent forwards, then peg the two front corners.
Peg both of the poles through the ring of the ring and pin system

MIT AUßENZELTAUFBAU ZUERST:
Außenzelt ausfalten und so ausrichten, dass Inneneingang und Außenzelteingang übereinstimmen.
Mehrere Klettbänder befinden sich an der Unterseite des Überdachs. Diese müssen an den Stangen des Innenzelts befestigt werden.
Befestigen Sie jede Seite des Außenzelts durch die mit Gummizug versehenen Befestigungspunkte, die sich neben den Metallringen des
Innenzelts befinden. Verwenden Sie die mitgelieferten Stiftheringe.
Spannen Sie den Vorbau weg vom Hauptteil des Zelts und befestigen Sie die Ecken des Vorbaus.
Stecken Sie das hintere Ende des Überdachs aus.
ALLE Abspannleinen mit Stiftheringen fixieren, wobei darauf zu achten ist, dass die Befestigungspunkte der Abspannleinen an der Plane
gleichmäßig festgezogen sind.
INNENZELT-ZUERST-AUFBAU:
Stecken Sie die 2 Stangen zusammen (1 lange und 1 kurze) und legen Sie sie parallel zueinander auf den Boden.
Innenzelt auslegen und korrekt ausrichten.
Führen Sie die Stangen durch die Stangenhüllen an der Außenseite des Innenzelts ein.
Fixieren Sie ein Ende jeder Stange an einer Seite des Innenzelts im Metallstift-System am Ende der Stangenhüllen. Drücken Sie die Stangen
gewölbeförmig von den entgegengesetzten Enden aus hoch und fixieren Sie die Stangenenden mit den passenden Metallstiften.
Befestigen Sie das hintere Ende des Innenzelts.
Ziehen Sie das Zelt vorsichtig nach vorne, befestigen Sie dann die beiden vorderen Ecken.
Stecken Sie beide Stangen durch den Ring des Ring-und-Stift-Systems.

MONTAGE EN COMMENÇANT PAR LE DOUBLE TOIT:
Déferler le double toit et l'orienter de sorte que la porte intérieure et celle du double toit 'se correspondent'
Un certain nombre de bandes velcro sont placées sous le double toit. Elles doivent être fixées autour des arceaux de la tente intérieure.
Piqueter chaque bord du double toit par les points indiqués au cordon de serrage, proches des anneaux de la tente intérieure. Se servir
des piquets fournis
Tirer sur le porche pour le mettre droit, à l'opposé du corps principal de la tente, et attacher au sol les coins du porche.
Attacher le point de fixation arrière du double toit.
Planter tous les cordes d'ancrage avec des piquets, en s'assurant que les points d'attache soient sous tension égale
MONTAGE EN COMMENÇANT PAR LA TENTE INTÉRIEURE:
Réunir les 2 arceaux (1 long et 1 court) et les poser parallèlement sur le sol.
Déferler la tente intérieure et orienter dans le sens requis
Insérer les arceaux dans les fourreaux d'arceau, à l'extérieur de la tente intérieure.
Placer une extrémité de chaque arceau sur un côté intérieur, dans le système de verrouillage en métal, à l'extrémité des fourreaux
d'arceau. Pousser les arceaux à l'intérieur d'une arche, depuis les extrémités opposées, et placer les extrémités de l'arceau à l'intérieur de la
cheville métallique correspondante.
Attacher le point de fixation arrière de la tente intérieure.
Etendre soigneusement la tente vers l'avant, puis fixer les deux coins de devant.
Fixer deux des arceaux, en les introduisant dans l'anneau du système de verrouillage ring & pin.

How do I impregnate a tent? Verified

Pitch the tent, clean the cloth and let it dry. Apply the impregnation agent on the cloth with a plant sprayer or other spray. It is also possible to use a paint roller or brush. The cloth needs to be fully saturated with the impregnation agent. Also treat the inside of the tent. Thoroughly clean any windows with a moist cloth. Do not let the impregnation agent dry on it. Let the tent cloth fully dry. Repeat the treatment if needed.

Can I repair a tear or hole in the canvas of my tent myself? Verified

There are special pieces of self-adhesive patches of cloth available for synthetic tent canvases. Stick one of these patches on both sides of the hole or tear. For cotton tent canvases or mixed material tent canvases it's best to use patches that can be ironed on. This will require an iron.

The impregnation agent leaves white stains or a white haze on the tent cloth, what can I do about this? Verified

If the agent leaves a white haze or white stains on the tent cloth, this means you have applied more impregnation agent on those areas. This is not harmful and the stains often disappear over time. It is not advisable to use less impregnation agent to prevent stains. The cloth needs to be fully saturated with the impregnation agent to give good results.
