TENT PITCHING INSTRUCTIONS SIGMA 300+(UK)
FLYSHEET FIRST PITCHING:
Assemble poles and lay them parallel on the ground ( 4 poles - 2 longer and 2 shorter
poles).
Poles are colour coded to match corresponding pole sleeve entry points
Open out inner and position in required direction.
Insert the two longer poles diagonally through the pole sleeves on the outside of the
flysheet
Insert the shorter porch pole into front pole sleeve over doorway
Locate one end of each diagonal pole onto pin system at flysheet corner (see figure 1).
Push each diagonal pole into an arch from opposite end and locate pole ends onto
corresponding pin system.
Locate one end of the porch pole onto corresponding pin system
Push porch pole into an arch from opposite side and locate pole end onto pin system
Peg down all rings of ring and pin system using pin-pegs (see figure 2)
Pull out porch doorway and peg down elastic pegging points on the base of the flysheet using pin-pegs.
Peg out all remaining shock-cord pegging points on the base of the flysheet using pin-pegs
Peg out ALL guy lines using pin-pegs ensuring that guy line fabric attachment points are evenly tensioned.
INNER FIRST PITCHING:
Open out inner tent inside flysheet and position so that doorways on inner and flysheet line up
Starting from the rear corners of the tent, attach the elasticated hooks on the groundsheet to corresponding rings on the flysheet anchor
straps. Suspend the inner by attaching elastic loops of inner tent with clips on inside of flysheet.
Attach hooks on porch groundsheet to corresponding rings on base of flysheet

MIT AUßENZELTAUFBAU ZUERST:
Stecken Sie die Stangen zusammen und legen Sie sie parallel zueinander auf den Boden (4 Stangen - 2 längere und 2 kürzere Stangen).
Die Stangen sind farbcodiert und farblich auf die zugehörigen Gestängekanaleingangspunkte abgestimmt.
Innenzelt auslegen und korrekt ausrichten.
Stecken Sie die beiden längeren Stangen diagonal durch die Gestängekanäle an der Außenseite des Außenzelts ein.
Führen Sie die kürzere Stange des Vorbaus in die vordere Stangenhülle über der Türöffnung ein.
Befestigen Sie ein Ende jeder diagonalen Stange mit dem Stift-System an der Ecke des Überdachs (Abbildung 1).
Drücken Sie jede diagonale Stange gewölbeförmig von der gegenüberliegenden Seite aus hoch und fixieren Sie die Stangenenden mit
dem passenden Stift-System.
Fixieren Sie ein Ende der Vorbaustange mit dem passenden Stift-System.
Drücken Sie die Vorbaustange gewölbeförmig von der gegenüberliegenden Seite hoch und fixieren Sie das Stangenende mit dem Stift-
System.
Befestigen Sie alle Ringe des Ring-und-Stift-Systems mit Heringen (Abbildung 2).
Ziehen Sie die Türöffnung des Vorbaus heraus und befestigen Sie die elastischen Befestigungspunkte an der Unterseite des Überdachs mit
Heringen.
Befestigen Sie alle übrigen mit Gummizug versehenen Befestigungspunkte mithilfe der Stiftheringe an der Basis des Außenzelts.
ALLE Abspannleinen mit Stiftheringen fixieren, wobei darauf zu achten ist, dass die Befestigungspunkte der Abspannleinen an der Plane
gleichmäßig festgezogen sind.
INNENZELT-ZUERST-AUFBAU:
Breiten Sie das Innenzelt im Inneren des Überdachs aus und positionieren Sie es so, dass die Türöffnungen des Innenzelts und des Überdachs
deckungsgleich sind.
Von den hinteren Ecken des Zeltes ausgehend, befestigen Sie die elastischen Haken an der Bodenplane mit den passenden Ringen an den
Verankerungsschnüren des Überdachs. Hängen Sie das Innenzelt ein, indem Sie die Gummibänder des Innenzelts mit Clips an der
Innenseite des Überdachs befestigen.
Befestigen Sie die Haken an der Bodenplane des Vorbaus an den passenden Ringen an der Unterseite des Überdachs.

MONTAGE EN COMMENÇANT PAR LE DOUBLE TOIT:
Réunir les arceaux et les poser parallèlement au sol (4 arceaux 2 arceaux plus longs et 2 arceaux plus courts).
Les mâts et les entrées de manche qui leur correspondent sont codifiés par couleurs
Déferler la tente intérieure et orienter dans le sens requis
Faire passer les deux mâts longs diagonalement par les manches à l'extérieur du double toit
Insérer l'arceau plus court du porche à l'intérieur du fourreau d'arceau, au-dessus de la porte.
Placer une extrémité de chaque arceau diagonal à l'intérieur du système de verrouillage, au coin du double toit (voir figure 1).
Pousser chaque arceau diagonal à l'intérieur d'une arche, depuis l'extrémité opposée et placer les extrémités des arceaux dans leurs
systèmes de verrouillage respectifs.
Placer une extrémité de l'arceau du porche dans son système de verrouillage correspondant.
Pousser l'arceau du porche à l'intérieur d'une arche, depuis le côté opposé, et placer la pointe de l'arceau dans le système de verrouillage.
Attacher au sol tous les anneaux du système de verrouillage ring and pin, à l'aide de piquets (voir figure 2).
Ouvrir la porte du porche et attacher au sol les points de fixation élastiques, à la base du double toit, à l'aide des piquets.
Piqueter tous les points indiqués du cordon de serrage en bas du double toit. Se servir des piquets fournis
Planter tous les cordes d'ancrage avec des piquets, en s'assurant que les points d'attache soient sous tension égale
MONTAGE EN COMMENÇANT PAR LA TENTE INTÉRIEURE:
Ouvrir la tente intérieure, à l'intérieur du double toit et positionner la porte, pour qu'elle soit alignée avec celle du double toit.
En commençant par les coins arrière de la tente, attacher les crochets munis d'élastiques, placés sur le tapis de sol, aux anneaux
correspondants, placés sur les bandes d'ancrage du double toit. Suspendre la tente intérieure en attachant les sangles élastiques de la
tente intérieure aux clips placés à l'intérieur du double toit.
Attacher les crochets placés sur le tapis de sol du porche aux anneaux correspondants, sur la base du double toit.

Can I store my tent when it's wet? Verified

Only for very short periods of time. When a tent is stored while wet for a week or longer, it can get moldy. This is harmful for your tent and possibly your health.

How do I impregnate a tent? Verified

Pitch the tent, clean the cloth and let it dry. Apply the impregnation agent on the cloth with a plant sprayer or other spray. It is also possible to use a paint roller or brush. The cloth needs to be fully saturated with the impregnation agent. Also treat the inside of the tent. Thoroughly clean any windows with a moist cloth. Do not let the impregnation agent dry on it. Let the tent cloth fully dry. Repeat the treatment if needed.

Can I repair a tear or hole in the canvas of my tent myself? Verified

There are special pieces of self-adhesive patches of cloth available for synthetic tent canvases. Stick one of these patches on both sides of the hole or tear. For cotton tent canvases or mixed material tent canvases it's best to use patches that can be ironed on. This will require an iron.

When a zipper is running smoothly, use a dry PTFE spray or silicone spray. Do not spray onto the cloth and preventively spray to prevent future problems.

What tent pegs are best to use for which surfaces? Verified

On grassland or forest surfaces you can use semi circular or plastic pegs. On rocky surfaces you need to use rock pegs. On clay surfaces you can use semi circular, plastic or universal pegs. On gravel surfaces you need semi circular or universal pegs and on sand you need to use wooden pegs.

The impregnation agent leaves white stains or a white haze on the tent cloth, what can I do about this? Verified

If the agent leaves a white haze or white stains on the tent cloth, this means you have applied more impregnation agent on those areas. This is not harmful and the stains often disappear over time. It is not advisable to use less impregnation agent to prevent stains. The cloth needs to be fully saturated with the impregnation agent to give good results.
