TENT PITCHING INSTRUCTIONS EOS 350, 550XL(UK)
FLYSHEET FIRST PITCHING:
Assemble the three poles and lay them parallel on the ground. One pole will be longer than
the other two. The poles are colour coded to link with a tab on the end of the pole sleeve.
Open out inner and position in required direction.
Locate pole sleeves on the flysheet and insert poles, one at a time. Locate one end of
each pole into corresponding pin system on flysheet.
Push the opposite end of the pole into an arch and locate pole end onto the
corresponding pin system
Peg out pegging points at both corners of one end of tent using pin-pegs supplied.
Pull flysheet taut, away from the pegging points, until tent takes shape. Peg the opposite
two elasticated pegging points using the pin pegs. Ensure the tent is in a straight line.
Peg down poles through metal rings and remaining flysheet pegging points.
Peg out ALL guy lines.
INNER FIRST PITCHING:
Open out inner tent inside flysheet and position doorway to correspond with the porch entrance of the flysheet.
Starting from the rear corners of the tent, attach the elasticated hooks on the groundsheet to corresponding rings on the flysheet anchor
straps. Suspend the inner by attaching elastic loops of inner inner tent with clips on inside of flysheet. Attach porch groundsheet using the
hooks to attach to the rings at the base of the poles and at the front of the tent

MIT AUßENZELTAUFBAU ZUERST:
Stecken Sie die drei Stangen zusammen und legen Sie sie parallel zueinander auf den Boden. Eine Stange ist länger als die anderen beiden.
Die Stangen sind farblich markiert, so dass sie mit einer Lasche am Ende der Stangenhüllen verbunden werden können.
Breiten Sie das Innenzelt aus und positionieren Sie es in der gewünschten Richtung.
Finden Sie die Stangenhüllen am Überdach und führen Sie die Stangen ein, jede einzeln. Befestigen Sie ein Ende jeder Stange im
passenden Stift-System am Überdach.
Schieben Sie das gegenüberliegende Ende der Stange in eine gewölbte Form und stecken Sie das Stangenende auf das zugehörige
Stiftsystem auf.
Stecken Sie die Befestigungspunkte an beiden Ecken des einen Endes des Zeltes aus, indem Sie die vorhandenen Arretierstifte benutzen.
Spannen Sie das Überdach weg von den Befestigungspunkten, bis das Zelt Form annimmt. Befestigen Sie die zwei gegenüberliegenden
elastischen Befestigungspunkte mit den Arretierstiften. Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Zelt gerade ist.
Stecken Sie die Stangen durch die Metallringe und die verbleibenden Befestigungspunkte des Überdachs.
Spannen Sie ALLE Spannseile.
INNENZELT-ZUERST-AUFBAU:
Breiten Sie das Innenzelt im Inneren des Überdachs aus und positionieren Sie die Türöffnung so, dass sie mit dem Eingang des Vorbaus am
Überdach übereinstimmt.
Von den hinteren Ecken des Zeltes ausgehend, befestigen Sie die elastischen Haken an der Bodenplane mit den passenden Ringen an den
Verankerungsschnüren des Überdachs. Hängen Sie das Innenzelt ein, indem Sie die Gummibänder des Innenzelts mit Clips an der
Innenseite des Überdachs befestigen.
Befestigen Sie die Haken an der Bodenplane des Vorbaus an den passenden Ringen an der Unterseite des Überdachs.
Befestigen Sie die Bodenplane des Vorbaus, indem Sie die Haken benutzen, um die Ringe am Ende der Stangen und an der Vorderseite
des Zelts zu befestigen.

MONTAGE EN COMMENÇANT PAR LE DOUBLE TOIT:
Réunir les trois arceaux et les poser parallèlement sur le sol. Un arceau sera plus long que les deux autres. Les arceaux ont des codes de
couleur, à associer avec une attache sur l'extrémité de chaque fourreau d'arceau.
Ouvrir la tente intérieure et la positionner dans la direction voulue.
Placer les fourreaux d'arceau sur le double toit et insérer les arceaux, un à la fois. Placer une extrémité de chaque arceau à l'intérieur de
son système de verrouillage correspondant, sur le double toit.
Faire un arc en poussant l'autre bout du mât et en situer le bout dans la cheville correspondante
Attacher les points de fixation aux deux coins d'une seule extrémité de la tente, à l'aide des piquets fournis.
Tirer sur le double toit pour le tendre, dans le sens opposé aux points de fixation, jusqu'à ce que la tente prenne sa forme. Attacher les deux
points de fixation élastiques, à l'opposé, à l'aide des piquets. S'assurer que la tente forme une ligne droite.
Fixer au sol les arceaux, en les insérant dans les anneaux de métal et les points de fixation du double toit, restant libres.
Attacher TOUTES les cordes de tension.
MONTAGE EN COMMENÇANT PAR LA TENTE INTÉRIEURE:
Ouvrir la tente intérieure, dans le double toit et positionner la porte, afin qu'elle corresponde avec l'entrée du porche du double toit.
En commençant par les coins arrière de la tente, attacher les crochets munis d'élastiques, placés sur le tapis de sol, aux anneaux
correspondants, placés sur les bandes d'ancrage du double toit. Suspendre la tente intérieure en attachant les sangles élastiques de la
tente intérieure aux clips placés à l'intérieur du double toit.
Attacher les crochets placés sur le tapis de sol du porche aux anneaux correspondants, sur la base du double toit.
Attacher le tapis de sol du porche à l'aide des crochets, à attacher aux anneaux, à la base des arceaux et à l'avant de la tente.

How do I impregnate a tent? Verified

Pitch the tent, clean the cloth and let it dry. Apply the impregnation agent on the cloth with a plant sprayer or other spray. It is also possible to use a paint roller or brush. The cloth needs to be fully saturated with the impregnation agent. Also treat the inside of the tent. Thoroughly clean any windows with a moist cloth. Do not let the impregnation agent dry on it. Let the tent cloth fully dry. Repeat the treatment if needed.

Can I repair a tear or hole in the canvas of my tent myself? Verified

There are special pieces of self-adhesive patches of cloth available for synthetic tent canvases. Stick one of these patches on both sides of the hole or tear. For cotton tent canvases or mixed material tent canvases it's best to use patches that can be ironed on. This will require an iron.

The impregnation agent leaves white stains or a white haze on the tent cloth, what can I do about this? Verified

If the agent leaves a white haze or white stains on the tent cloth, this means you have applied more impregnation agent on those areas. This is not harmful and the stains often disappear over time. It is not advisable to use less impregnation agent to prevent stains. The cloth needs to be fully saturated with the impregnation agent to give good results.
