Appliance characteristics

The Vaillant ecoTEC plus and ecoTEC pro models are

compact, wall-mounted condensing appliances.

ecoTEC plus and pro combination boilers provides both

central heating and domestic hot water, with the dome-

stic hot water supplied directly from the boiler. The boi-

ler will operate automatically to provide domestic hot

water whenever a hot water tap is opened, and auto-

matically adjusts to meet the demand for both central

heating and domestic hot water in the most economical

way.

ecoTEC system boilers provides central heating and

domestic hot water where a separate indirect hot water

cylinder is also incorporated to the system.

I have just moved into my new property that has a Vaillant ecoTEC pro 28 installed, it fires ok, hot water and heating, however, it is fitted with a Salas wireless thermostat, I have programmed it so that the heating comes on as we need it, however when I switch the boiler to auto on the from panel of the boiler the red light just flashes and the heating does not come on, even switching the wireless thermostat to hand and raising the temperature. The receiver model I cannot tell from the front .

Not sure which way the valves should be turned off on vallient ecotec28 model. got f75 fault reading and the pressure is at 4,6. I think i may have accidently have the valves open

Have a ecoTEC pro28 second hand boiler to instal. It doesn’t have any valves so would like parts numbers for Flow connector. Return connection. Hot water connection. Cold water supply connector

My Vaillant central heating boiler displays error E13, what does this mean? Verified

Error E13 indicates that the water in the system is not flowing properly. This might be because too few radiators are turned on. It is also possible that the bypass valve is not set correctly or that there is blockage in the system. In these last two cases it is best contact a mechanic.
