TO OPERATE IN DUPLEX MODE

Duplex mode is only available from CH01 – CH08. Duplex

mode is activated on a per channel basis and transmitting

frequency on Duplex channels is CH31 – CH38. E.g., If the

Repeater channel for your area is CH01, then while in Duplex

mode the Transmit channel will become CH31

with the Receive channel being CH01.

SCANNING

The scan function scans all channels and stops at an active

channel. When the signal stops, the waits 2

seconds (Reply Delay) before scanning resumes.

UH041/UHO41P

To initiate scanning,

1. Assuming the unit is on CH01

when switched on.

2. Press and hold Channel or

for 3 seconds and scanning starts

and Scan icon is displayed.

3. Press or to cancel

scanning.

If Channel or is pressed while the unit is

paused on a channel, scanning is resumed.

Press momentarily. The icon

appears.

Press again to deactivate the duplex

operation. will return to

normal operation.

Note: If is pressed when the channel is

not from CH01 - CH08, an error tone sounds.
