The following is my opinion only after assembly of 80163 Desk. The assembly manual provided is poor. I found it difficult to go on companies web site to find better instructions or video. A decent video would make assembling easier as well as individual bags for hardware (everything was thrown together but there were spares!) I believe you would be better off buying used solid wood desk on Craigslist.

This desk has been hell since I bought it. First two parts came completely cracked and I had to wait an extra TWO weeks for the parts and for everything to come. THEN, the manual is completely garbage and explains everything terribly. I don’t know where to screw the drawers in the sliders because apparently it skips that in the booklet. Then some of the wood is cracked. I bought this for my son for school and it’s just terrible.

Lousy company!! I should have just went to a furniture store. How much does it cost to print assembly instructions? I cant believe walmart was selling this product!!!

This product sucks!!! No written assembly instructions whatsoever!! Found supposed manual online pieces are not labeled like manual and it is nothing but crappy drawings!!! Makes no SENSE!!!!! Is it really that hard to throw in assembly instructions?? But then again they probably don't know how to put it together!!!!!

I've assembled a lot, but this guide sucks. It is nowhere explained that the slides will probably need to be split in order to screw them to the drawers. I'm still pondering!
