2. Lösen des Bandes

Wie in Foto 4 gezeigt, das Band in

Pfeilrichtung zur Innenseite ziehen,

während Sie die Schnallenknöpfe

gedrückt halten.

Beim Anlegen der Maske dürfen keine

Haare zwischen Gesicht und

Dichtmanschette eingeklemmt werden.

Eingezwickte Haare sind die häufigste

Ursache für das Eindringen von Wasser.

Einstellen der Bandlänge

1. Festziehen des Bandes

Wie in Foto 1 gezeigt, das Band in

Pfeilrichtung zur Außenseite ziehen.

2. Lösen des Bandes

Wie in Foto 2 gezeigt das Band in

Pfeilrichtung zur Innenseite ziehen,

während die Schnalle mit der

Fingerspitze gezogen wird.

Einstellen der Bandlänge (M-17,M-28)

1. Festziehen des Bandes

Wie in Foto 3 gezeigt, das Band in

Pfeilrichtung zur Außenseite ziehen.

AUSBLASEN DER MASKE

An der Wasseroberfläche kann eingedrungenes Wasser durch

einfaches Abheben der Maske vom Gesicht entfernt werden.

Unter Wasser muß die Maske jedoch "ausgeblasen" werden,

indem durch die Nase Luft in die Maske geleitet wird.

Ausblasen einer einfachen Maske

Bei einfachen Masken den Kopf, wie auf dem Foto gezeigt, nach

hinten neigen, den unteren Teil der Maske leicht anheben, und

zugleich durch die Nase Luft in die Maske leiten, um das Wasser

zu verdrängen.

Wird die Maske zu heftig ausgeblasen, verbleibt meist etwas

Wasser in der Maske. Deshalb die Maske immer langsam und

kontrolliert ausblasen.

Ausblasen einer Maske mit Ausblasventil

Da das Ausblasventil am untersten Teil des Rahmens angebracht

ist, den Kopf leicht nach vorne neigen oder nach links (M-21), um

Wasser am Ausblasventil zu sammeln, und dann einen Luftstrom

langsam und stetig durch die Nase ausgeben. Es ist nicht

erforderlich, die Maske beim Ausblasen abzuheben, aber ein

leichtes Andrücken der Maske an das Gesicht beim Ausblasen

hilft.

Anbringen des Schnorchels an der Maske

Das Maskenband durch Andrücken der

Unterseite des Schnorcheladapters von

der Innenseite nach oben einführen.

Sicherstellen, daß das Band nicht

verdreht ist.

Zum Entfernen des Schnorchels von der

Maske die gleichen Schritte in

umgekehrter Reihenfolge ausführen.
