Bediening en onderhoud

Verwijder alle verpakkingen van het apparaat.

Controleer of de spanning van het apparaat overeenkomt met de netspanning van uw huis.

Voltage 220V-240V 50Hz. Dit apparaat is niet geschikt voor inbouw of buitengebruik.

Let op ! Het apparaat nooit meer kantelen dan 45° e n nooit andersom zetten.

Het koelmiddelcircuit is gecontroleerd op dichtheid. Koelvermogen 7.000 BTU/ 2051 watt

(model AC-5493 ) of 8500 BTU/2491 watt (model AC-5494).

Eerste gebruik

Plaats het apparaat op een vlakke stabiele ondergrond en houd minimaal 30 cm. vrije ruimte

rondom het apparaat. Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat goed recht wordt geplaatst.

Laat het apparaat, na transport, eerst minimaal 4 uur staan alvorens de stekker in het

stopcontact wordt geplaatst. Voorkom dat de behuizing van het apparaat nat wordt.

Zorg dat de stroomkabel met de stekker niet wordt opgerold aan de achterkant van het

apparaat, deze kan te warm worden. Paats de stekker altijd in een geaard stopcontact.

Plaats het apparaat nooit naast warmte bronnen of in direct zonlicht.

Plaatsen van het Carbonfilter (nr. 18).

Verwijder het bovenste lucht filter

(nr. 8) uit het apparaat.

Verwijder het rooster

van het filter.

Open de verpakking van

het meegeleverde carbon

filter (nr. 18).

Plaats het carbon filter tegen

het plastic filter aan.

Plaats het rooster terug op

het filter.

Plaats het filter terug in het

apparaat.

Plaatsen van de luchtafvoer accessoires.

Het airconditioning systeem koelt de lucht in de ruimte waar deze geplaatst is af. De warmte

die aan deze lucht onttrokken is dient naar buiten te worden afgevoerd. Bij het afkoelen van

warme lucht ontstaat condenswater. Een groot deel van het condenswater wordt met de

warme lucht mee naar buiten afgevoerd. Bij een hoge luchtvochtigheid zal niet al het

condenswater worden afgevoerd naar buiten en zal geregeld het condenswater reservoir

moeten worden geleegd. In het hoofdstuk “Condenswater aftappen” wordt dit stap voor stap

omschreven.

Er zijn diverse manieren om de warme lucht naar buiten af te voeren:

• Draai de slang (nr. 13) in de warme lucht uitgang (nr. 10) van het apparaat. Hang de slang

uit het raam of een buitendeur. De koelcapaciteit zal niet optimaal zijn omdat er warme

buiten lucht in de te koelen ruimte kan blijven stromen.

• Boor een gat van 135 mm. doorsnede in de buitenmuur en voer de slang door het gat. De

koelcapacitieit is nu wel optimaal. De muurafdekking (nr. 14) kan op de buitenmuur worden

geplaats. Indien het apparaat niet wordt gebruikt kan het gat worden afgedicht met de

afdekking (nr. 15).

• Plaats het raamopvulstuk in het openstaande gedeelte van het raam. Plaats de slang (nr.

13) in de aansluiting voor de slang (nr. 16). De koelcapacitieit is optimaal. Zorg voor een

maximale afstand van 36 cm. van het apparaat tot aan het raam cq. buitenmuur.

Zorg ervoor dat de slang (nr. 13) niet wordt

geknikt of dat de lucht uitstroom wordt belemmerd.

Verleng nooit de meegeleverde slang (nr. 13).
