5. Não corte a grama com o gramado muito alto, a m

de evitar pontos falhos e o aspecto de queimado.

Por outro lado, cortes muito frequentes tendem a

esgotar as reservas nutritivas da grama, deixando-a

fraca, suscetível ao ataque de pragas e doenças.

6. Mantenha as lâminas de corte sempre aadas

evitando assim que as folhas sejam “mastigadas”

pela máquina, sem que haja o corte. O corte com

as lâminas “cegas” favorece o aparecimento de

doenças, às vezes de difícil controle, deixando

o gramado irregular e com uma aparência

amarronzada.

7. Outro cuidado que deve ser tomado durante o

corte é o sentido do trabalho. Procure alterar a

direção dos cortes, evitando assim uma possível

compactação do solo. A compactação do terreno

reduz a quantidade de oxigênio disponível para as

raízes e diculta seu crescimento normal. Em casos

mais graves pode até levar à morte das plantas.

Por exemplo, se desta vez a grama for cortada no

sentido Norte-Sul, na próxima prera cortar na

direção Leste-Oeste, e assim sucessivamente.

8. O que fazer com os restos do corte: deixar sobre

o gramado ou recolher? Os defensores da ideia

sobre o gramado justicam que a palha cortada

aos poucos vai se decompondo, devolvendo

ao solo alguns nutrientes extraídos por ela. Por

outro lado, o recolhimento da palha melhora a

aeração e luminosidade rente ao terreno, fatores

gramado. Além disso, com a palha recolhida,

a temperatura e a umidade junto a grama são

menores, reduzindo os riscos do aparecimento

de doenças, e inclusive, melhorando a aparência

9. Procure evitar cortar a grama nas primeiras horas da

manhã, quando ainda há uma grande quantidade

operador.

10. Como toque nal, você pode embelezar ainda

mais o seu jardim alterando a altura do corte da

grama em determinadas faixas. O cortador de

Cuidados com a

Máquina Recicladora

Para conseguir um melhor desempenho da

máquina recicladora, quando do corte da grama,

recomendamos observar o seguinte:

 Procure fazer sempre o corte da grama, quando a

mesma estiver seca.

 O ideal é que a grama esteja com uma altura de

no máximo 11 cm, o que proporcionará um corte

correto e uma reciclagem perfeita.

 Se por ventura, a grama estiver com mais de 11 cm

de altura, o correto é que se faça dois cortes.

 Procure regular a altura, para que apenas 1/3 da

grama seja cortada e reciclada.

 É importante que a faca esteja sempre bem aada.

 Após o uso proceda a limpeza do cortador. Grama

e outros detritos acumulados no interior de máquina

podem danicar o bom funcionamento da máquina

e fazer com que o corte seja feito incorretamente.

 Para evitar a contaminação do gramado por ervas

daninhas, antes de realizar a reciclagem, remova

todas as ervas daninhas.
