4.5 Batterieversorgung

Grundsätzlich können die Cruise R und Cruise T Modelle mit Blei-Säure, Blei-Gel, AGM

oder Lithium-ba sierten Batterien betrieben werden.

Aus Gründen der Leistungsfähigkeit und Bedienungsfreundlichkeit empﬁehlt Torqeedo

den Anschluß der Lithium Batterien Power 26-104 (siehe Kapitel 4.6).

Aber auch herkömmliche Lithium-ba sierte Batterien sowie Blei-Säure, Blei-Gel oder

AGM-Batterien können problemlos angeschlossen werden (Kapitel 4.7)

4.5.1 Anmerkungen zur Batterieversorgung

Wir empfehlen keinesfalls Starter-Batterien zu verwenden, da diese bei tieferen Entla-

dungen bereits nach wenigen Zyklen bleibende Schäden tragen. Sofern Blei-basierte

Batterien verwendet werden sollen, empfehlen wir sog. „Traktionsbatterien“, die für

durchschnittli che Entladetiefen pro Zyklus (depth of discharge) von 80 % ausgelegt sind,

wie sie z.B. in Gabelstaplern zum Einsatz kommen. Es können auch sog. „Marine“-Batte-

rien verwendet werden. Hier empfehlen wir höhere nominale Kapazitäten (min. 180 Ah),

um 50 % Entladetiefe nicht zu überschreiten.

Zur Berechnung von Laufzeiten und Reichweiten ist die zur Verfügung gestellte

Batterieka pazität wesentlich. Diese wird nachfolgend in Wattstunden [Wh] angegeben.

Die Wattstun denzahl lässt sich leicht mit den angegebenen Eingangsleistungen des

Motors in Watt [W] abgleichen: Der Cruise 2.0 R/T besitzt eine Eingangsleistung von 2.000

W und verbraucht in einer Stunde bei Vollgas 2.000 Wh. Der Cruise 4.0 R/T besitzt eine

Eingangsleistung von 4.000 W und verbraucht in einer Stunde bei Vollgas 4.000 Wh. Die

Nennkapazität einer Batterie [Wh] berechnet sich durch Multiplikation von Ladung [Ah]

mal Nennspannung [V]; eine Batterie mit 12 V und 100 Ah hat also eine Nennkapazität

von 1.200 Wh.

Generell gilt für Blei-Säure, Blei-Gel und AGM-Batterien, dass die so berechnete Nennka-

pazität der Batterie nicht vollständig zur Verfügung gestellt werden kann. Dies liegt an der

begrenzten Hochstromfähigkeit von Bleibatterien. Um diesem Effekt entgegen zu wirken,

empﬁehlt sich der Einsatz großer Batterien. Für Lithium-basierte Batterien ist dieser Effekt

fast vernachlässigbar.

Für die zu erwartenden Reichweiten und Laufzeiten spielen neben der tatsächlich verfüg-

baren Batteriekapazität der Bootstyp, die gewählte Leistungsstufe (geringere Laufzeit und

Reichweite bei höherer Geschwindigkeit) sowie bei Bleibatterien die Außentemperatur

eine maßgebliche Rolle.
