UNPACKING
In the box you should nd the appliance and all the attachments -
remove all the packing from these and retain the packaging. If you
dispose of it, please do so according to any recycling regulations.
If items are missing or damaged, contact your nearest Tesco store for
assistance.
Read and retain this user guide. If you pass the appliance to a third
party, make sure to include this user guide.
Before use, remove the plastic protector and warning card from the
mains plug.
MAIN COMPONENTS
When you have nished drying or styling your hair, switch the power
selection switch to the OFF position
Switch o at the mains supply, unplug the appliance and allow it to
cool before storing.
UNBLOCKING THE REAR GRILLE
If during use, the rear grille becomes clogged or blocked with hair,
dust or dirt, the grille should be cleaned.
Disconnect the appliance from the mains supply.1.
Clean the rear grille with the brush attachment of a vacuum cleaner 2.
or a paintbrush until the grille is clear of dust and obstructions.
CARE AND CLEANING
The appliance must be unplugged before cleaning.
Let the appliance cool down before touching or cleaning the body.
Clean the rear grille from time to time as described in the previous
section. Clean the housing with a soft dry cloth.
DO NOT use any harsh detergents, abrasives, solvents or cleaners.
NEVER immerse in water to clean.
Dry thoroughly before use.
WARRANTY
Your appliance is covered by a warranty for 12 months from the date
of purchase. If a fault develops during this period, please return the
unit to your nearest Tesco store together with the original receipt as
proof of purchase. This warranty in no way aects your consumer
rights.

SETTING THE MAINS VOLTAGE
This hairdryer is supplied for use in the UK, set for 230-240V operation,
and tted with an approved UK mains plug.
When travelling, always check the local mains voltage in your area
before connecting this appliance. You may need to change the
voltage selector setting to match the local mains voltage correctly.
To change the operating voltage, turn the selector switch on the
handle with a screwdriver or a small coin to line up the slot in the
screw with the correct voltage as shown below -

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Fully unwind the mains cable. Make sure the ON/OFF switch is in the
OFF position. Move the handle to the operational’ position.
Place the appliance on a smooth, at, dry surface, plug in and switch
on at the mains supply.
Fit the Concentrator if required by pressing it rmly into the Air
Outlet. When tted, the Concentrator can be rotated as required.
You can dry smaller sections of hair by concentrating the ow of hot
air with the concentrator. The Concentrator can be un-clipped if not
required - allow it to cool before removing it.

Always remember to check the voltage setting before use when
you have travelled to another country or returned home. Incorrect
voltage setting will result in permanent damage to the appliance.
NOTE: When travelling to other countries a mains plug adaptor (not
supplied) may be required for connection to the local mains supply.
Position 0 – OFF
Position 1 – Half power, medium temperature
for gentle drying and styling.
Position 2 – Full power, high temperature for
quick drying.
