Maintaining proper weight is essential to healthy living. Obesity
has been linked to a higher risk of heart disease, diabetes and
some forms of cancer. The Body Mass Index (BMI) is the most
widely accepted measurement of weight according to health
professionals.
Use the chart below to determine your own BMI by matching
your height in the left hand column with your weight in the
center. Anyone, male or female, with a BMI of 25 to 29 is
considered over weight and a body mass index of 30 is
considered obese. Remember to eat right and exercise.
In Case of Difficulty...
1. Place your feet in the same position every time you weigh
yourself. Stand still during measurement.
2. Weigh yourself without clothing whenever possible. Clothes can
vary in weight.
3. Move the scale to a location where it won't be bumped. If your
scale is bumped while being activated or while in use, an
inaccurate reading may occur.
4. For the most consistent readings, weigh yourself at the same
time of day. Allow for weight fluctuations due to food or drink in
your system.
5. The maximum capacity of this scaleis 330 lbs / 150 kgs / 23 st 8
lbs. Should “o_Ld appear on the display during a weighing,
this indicates that the maximum weighing capacity of the scale
has been exceeded. Remove the weight immediately; otherwise,
permanent damage may occur.

Trouble Shooting
1. Use 2- 3 volt CR2032 lithium batteries (as installed). Always
replace both batteries at the same time; do not combine old and
new batteries.
2. Open the battery compartment on the bottom of scale by pushing
the tab in direction of the “open” arrow and raising the cover.
3. Remove the old batteries from the
compartment.
4. Place the new batteries into the
battery compartment as indicated by
the polarity symbols (+ and -) marked
on the inside of the battery
compartment.
5. Close the battery compartment cover.
1. Utilisez 2- piles au lithium 3 V de type CR2032 (comme
installé). Remplacez toujours toutes les piles en même temps, ne
langez pas vieilles et nouvelles piles.
2. Ouvrez le compartiment de piles au bas du balance en poussant la
languette dans la direction de la flèche 'ouverte' et en soulevant le
couvercle.
3. Retirez las vieille piles du compartiment.
4. Placez las nouvelle piles dans le
compartiment tel qu'indiqué par les

à l'intérieur du compartiment de piles.
5. Fermez le couvercle de piles.

3. Quite las baterías viejas del compartimiento.
4. Coloque las nueva baterías en el
compartimiento sen indican los símbolos
de polaridad (+ y -) que se encuentran
dentro del compartimiento de las bateas.
5. Vuelva a cerrar la tapa del compartimiento
de las baterías.

battery indicator. It will display “LO” or readings
will grow dim or become irregular if the batteries
needs replacement.

4. Pour des relevés plus consistants, pesez-vous au même
moment du jour. Tenez compte du fait que des fluctuations de
poids peuvent découler de la nourriture ou des boissons dans
votre système.
5. La capacité maximum de ce balance est de 330 livres / 150
kilogrammes / 23 stone 8 livres. Si « o_Ld » sont évident sur
l'affichage pendant peser, ceci indique la capacité de poids

Ja, the device can still be safely used. Firstly, remove the oxidizd battery. Never use bare hands to do this. Then clean the battery compartment with a cotton swab dipped in vinegar or lemon juice. Let it dry and insert new batteries.
