connection – stereo via speaker cables

If the system’s amplifier/receiver does not have a subwoofer output, SubElectro 175/200 can be connected via speaker cables and, in

that sense, be inserted between the amplifier and loudspeakers.

See figure D.

tilslutning – stereo via højttalerkabler

Hvis anlæggets forstærker/receiver ikke har en subwoofer udgang kan SubElectro 175/200 tilsluttes via højttalerkabler, og på denne

måde indsættes mellem forstærkeren og højttalerne.

connection – double check

Before turning on the subwoofer you should check two things

 Check the small label at the bottom of the connection panel to make sure that the subwoofer is compatible with the mains voltage.

 check one last time that the cables are properly mounted. Be extremely careful that the phase is correct on the speaker

connections. i.e. positive to positive, and never positive to negative. On SA speakers, the positive pole is indicated by a red socket.

Check the speaker cables again to make sure that the right and left channels have not been mixed up.

 kontroller på den lille label nederst på tilslutningspanelet at subwooferen passer til netspændingen.

 kontroller en ekstra gang at alle kabler er rigtigt monteret. Vær meget opmærksom på, at fasen er korrekt på højttalertilslutningerne.

Altså positiv til positiv, og aldrig positiv til negativ. På SA højttalere er den positive pol altid mærket med rød bøsning.

Følg igen højttalerkablerne for at sikre at der ikke er byttet mellem højre og venstre kanal.

the on-off switch (figure A 5) does not completely turn off the subwoofer’s amplifier. If you have to cut off the amplifier from the mains

completely, turn the main switch (figure A 11) to ”OFF”.

The power switch (figure A 5) has three settings:

ON the subwoofer is active and the light is red.

AUTO the subwoofer will start off active and the light red. After approx. 10 minutes without a signal, the light will turn off and

the subwoofer will be set to standby. When a signal is detected on one of the inputs the subwoofer will change

automatically to active and the light will turn red.

OFF the subwoofer is on constant standby and the light is off.

If the subwoofer will not be used for an extended period, we recommend that the main switch be turned off (figure A 11) or the

electricity cable removed from the mains supply.
