purchased to clear some brushwood did work at first but often blocked and needed clearing now will not work when turned on nothing happens tried changing fuse tried reset switch what should I try next ?

machine cut out. Have been unable to restart. Have removed housing and cleared all debris, replaced, housing, turned to off position, then switched on. Did not start. pressed reset button but as it is covered with plastic unable to be sure it has reset, still did not restart. Have checked plug and fuse, all ok, but still not starting.

states it will shred up to 40mm .wont even do 20mm and even then it just strips the branch not shred/chip it . bought brand new from homebase which is now closed so cannot return as unfit for purpose . not happy !!!!
