Wide Conversion Lens
Before using this lens, please read this manual
thoroughly and retain it for future reference.
Notes on use
• Avoid rough handling or mechanical shock to
the camera, especially when the lens is
attached.
• Be sure to put lens caps on the lens when
storing.
• Avoid keeping the lens in a very humid place
for a long period of time to prevent mold.
• Avoid putting the camera on the desk with
the wide-conversion lens attached because
some cameras may be unstable.
• Take the wide-conversion lens off when
transporting.
• Though peripheral resolution has been
greatly improved compared with other Sony
conversion lenses up to now, the peripheral
performance is slightly lower than that of the
center.
Restrictions on use
• When you use the flash, an eclipse (shadow)
may occur depending on the camera. In this
case, turn off the flash.
• On some cameras, the laser link, NightShot
function, and remote commander, etc. cannot
be used.
Attaching the wide-
conversion lens
The Sony VCL-HG0737 wide-conversion lens is
designed for use with the Sony digital still
cameras/video camera recorders whose filters
are 37mm in diameter.
1 Remove the caps at the front and back of the
wide-conversion lens.
2 Attach the wide-conversion lens firmly to
the lens of the digital still camera/video
camera recorder.

Cleaning the wide-conversion
lens
Brush off dust on the surface of the lens with a
blower brush or soft brush. Wipe off
fingerprints or other smears with a soft cloth
slightly moistened with a mild detergent
solution.

Remarques sur l’emploi

Enlevez la poussière sur la surface du
convertisseur avec une brosse soufflet ou une
brosse douce. Enlevez les traces de doigts ou les
taches avec un chiffon doux légèrement humidifié
d’une solution légèrement détergente.

Hinweise zur Verwendung
• Vermeiden Sie grobe Behandlung oder starke
Erschütterungen von Digitalkamera/
Camcorder, und zwar besonders, wenn das
Objektiv angebracht ist.
• Immer sicherstellen, daß beim Ablegen der
Objektivdeckel angebracht ist.
• Vermeiden Sie es, das Objektiv längere Zeit
an Orten mit hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit
aufzubewahren, um Schimmelbefall zu
verhindern.
• Legen Sie nicht die Digitalkamera/
Camcorder mit angebrachtem
Konverterobjektiv auf dem Tisch ab, weil
manche Digitalkameras/Camcorder unstabil
sein können.
• Nehmen Sie das Weitwinkelkonverter-
Objektiv beim Transport ab.
• Obwohl die periphere Auflösung im
Vergleich zu früheren Sony-
Konverterobjektiven bedeutend verbessert
wurde, ist die Schärfe im Randbereich etwas
geringer als in der Mitte.
Einschränkungen zur
Verwendung
• Bei Verwendung des Blitzlichts kann je nach
der Kamera eine kurzzeitige Verdunkelung
(Schatten) eintreten. Schalten Sie den Blitz in
diesem Fall aus.
• Bei manchen Kameras kann es sein, daß
LaserLink, die NightShot-Funktion und
Fernbedienung usw. nicht verwendet werden
können.
Ansetzen des
Weitwinkelkonverter-Objektivs
Das Weitwinkelkonverter-Objektiv Sony
VCL-HG0737 ist für die Verwendung mit Sony
Digitalkameras/Camcordern mit einem
Filterdurchmesser von 37 mm konstruiert.
1 Nehmen Sie die Deckel vorne und hinten am
Weitwinkelkonverter-Objektiv ab.
2 Bringen Sie das Weitwinkelkonverter-
Objektiv fest am Objektiv der
Digitalkamera/Camcorder an.

Reinigung des
Weitwinkelkonverter-Objektivs
Zum Entfernen von Staub auf dem Objektiv
verwenden Sie einen Blaspinsel oder eine
weiche Reinigungsbürste. Zum Entfernen von
Fingerabdrücken oder Schlieren reinigen Sie sie
mit einer milden Reinigungslösung und einem
weichen Lappen.

• Aunque la resolución periférica se ha
mejorado notablemente en comparación con
los objetivos de conversión Sony existentes
hasta el momento, el rendimiento periférico
es ligeramente inferior al del central.

1 Quite las tapas frontal y posterior del
objetivo de conversión para gran angular.
2 Fije firmemente el objetivo de conversión

Limpieza del objetivo de

Elimine el polvo de la superficie del objetivo

Voorzorgsmaatregelen bij
het gebruik
• Ga voorzichtig met de camera om, vooral
wanneer deze voorzetlens er op is bevestigd,
en zorg dat het toestel niet wordt blootgesteld
aan heftige schokken.
• Breng voor het opbergen de lensdoppen op
de lens aan.
• Bewaar de lens op een plaats met niet te veel
vocht, om schimmelvorming te voorkomen.
• Plaats een camera met daarop de groothoek-
voorzetlens niet op een bureau of tafelblad,
want bepaalde camera’s kunnen niet stabiel
blijven staan.
• Neem voor vervoer van de camera eerst deze
groothoek-voorzetlens er af.
• Alhoewel de beeldscherpte aan de randen
sterk verbeterd is ten opzichte van eerdere
Sony voorzetlenzen, blijft de scherpte langs
de randen iets minder dan in het midden van
het beeld.
Beperkingen bij het gebruik
• Bij gebruik van een flitslamp kan er wel eens
een schaduw (vignettering) in het beeld
ontstaan. In dat geval kunt u de flitser beter
uitschakelen.
• Bij sommige camera’s zullen functies zoals
LASER LINK, NightShot en de
afstandsbedieningsfuncties niet werken.
Aanbrengen van de
groothoek-voorzetlens
Deze Sony VCL-HG0737 groothoek-voorzetlens
is ontworpen voor gebruik op Sony digitale
stilbeeldcamera’s/videocamera/recorders met
een 37-mm filtermaat.
1 Verwijder de beschermdoppen aan de voor-
en achterkant van de groothoek-voorzetlens.
2 Bevestig de groothoek-voorzetlens stevig
voorop het objectief van de digitale
stilbeeldcamera/videocamera/recorder.

Stof op de lens kunt u verwijderen met een
blaaskwastje of zacht borsteltje.
Vingerafdrukken en aanklevend vuil kunt u
wegvegen met een zacht doekje, licht
bevochtigd met wat milde huishoudzeep.

Att observera angående bruk
• Med vissa kameror med automatisk
skärpeinställning kan det ibland hända att
bilden blir oskarp. Ställ i så fall in skärpan
manuellt.
• Kom ihåg att sätta på locken på linsen före
förvaring.
• Förvara inte vidvinkellinsen på en fuktig
plats under lång tid, eftersom det kan orsaka
mögelskador.
• Undvik att placera kameran på ett bord med
vidvinkellins påmonterad. Det kan göra vissa
kameror ostadiga.
• Ta av vidvinkellinsen före transport.
• Fastän kantskärpan har förbättrats avsevärt
jämfört med tidigare vidvinkellinser från
Sony, så är skärpan i kanterna något sämre än
i mitten.
Begränsningar vid
användning av
vidvinkellinsen
• Vid fotografering med blixt kan det
förekomma en förmörkelse (skugga)

Stäng i så fall av blixen.
• Med vissa kameror är det inte möjligt att
använda sådana egenskaper som laserlänk,
NightShot och fjärrstyrning.
