4. Toewerpen

Voor het werpen eerst de lus van de banden losmaken zodat beide einden los hangen.

Knoop een drijvende reddinglijn aan de lus in de nek. Let er hierbij op dat de lijn niet in

elkaar geknoopt zit. De lijn dient vrij te kunnen uitlopen waardoor de lijn in het water beter

kan uitdrijven en het manoeuvreren bij het oppikken eenvoudiger wordt. Indien er geen lijn

gebruikt wordt, is een drijfanker, bevestigt aan de neklus, aan te raden. Het drijfanker wordt

tegelijk met de boei geworpen zodat het afdrijven van de boei beperkt wordt.

Noodreddinglamp en markeringsboei

Eventueel de markeringsboei en noodreddinglamp uitzetten. De SECUMAR

noodreddinglampen kunnen met een verbindingslijn aan de band in de nek geknoopt wor-

den.

5. Service en onderhoud

Vervuilingen kunnen met de in de handel zijnde wasmiddelen verwijderd worden. Voor elk

seizoen dient u de toestand van de banden en het drijflichaam te testen. In het bijzonder bij

beschadigingen van de band in het nekdeel dient deze volgens punt 6 verwisseld te wor-

den. Een vervanging is bijvoorbeeld noodzakelijk indien door jarenlange blootstelling aan

uv-stralen de scheurbestendigheid verminderd is.

6. Verwisselen van de banden.

Lees eerst het totale montagevoorschrift voor het verwisselen. De banden loop van de

banden kunt u zien in de tekening.
