Gebruiksaanwijzing SECUMAR 17 reddingboei

Lees voor het gebruik of voor bevestiging aan boord de gebruiksaanwijzing nauwkeurig

door en bewaar deze op een veilige plek.

Belangrijk:

De reddingboei SECUMAR 17 is een hulpmiddel om verdrinken te voorkomen. In het water

brengt de boei het lichaam in een veilige schuinachterwaartse positie, met het gezicht

omhoog. De reddingboei is niet als reddingvest volgens EN 396 te gebruiken.

Opgelet: In combinatie met bepaalde kledingstukken kan het draaivermogen worden ver-

minderd. Elk gebruik van de reddingboei SECUMAR 17 vereist gedetailleerde kennis van

de gebruiksaanwijzing. De reddingboei mag alleen volgens de gebruiksaanwijzing gebruikt

worden.

Toepassing/gebruik

De reddingboei wordt normaal gesproken vast in een boordhouder opgehangen. Werp

de reddingboei naar een overboord gevallen persoon. De boei wordt in het water door de

drenkeling aangetrokken. Daartoe wordt de boei om de nek gedaan en zoals omschreven

aan het lichaam bevestigd. Indien u de boei reeds aan boord aantrekt, dient u bij het te

water springen de armen kruiselings over de boei te plaatsen. Probeer de boei voor het

gebruik in het water, om u ervan te overtuigen hoe het functioneert en hoe uw houding in

het water is.

1. Beschrijving

Materiaal drijflichaam: Schuimstof met dichte cellen, polyethyleen, rood-oranje, door en

door gekleurd, met metalen kern. Het schuimstof polyethyleen is niet giftig, bestand tegen

zeewater, olie, benzine, brandstoffen en vet. Tegen open vuur beschermen.

Afmeting: 50 x 15 x 34 cm

Gewicht: 1,15 kg

Drijfvermogen:

130N

Bandenstelsel: De banden lopen dwars door het drijflichaam en in de nek is een lus

geplaatst.

Aanwijzing: de lus in de nek is niet geschikt voor berging!

Fluit: Een twee-tonige signaalfluit is aan de zijkant in het drijflichaam geplaatst en verbon-

den met de banden.

Belettering/beschrijving:

Het beschrijven van het drijflichaam is mogelijk (in de halfronde boog). Gebruik hiervoor

watervaste PE-verf. Zelfklevende letters dienen tweezijdig extra van lijm te worden voorzien

(o.a. Pattex Cetabever). Afmeting is ongeveer 200 x 50 mm.
