POLARIZED PLUG

This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To

reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one

way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does

not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.

3) Removable Filter Basket

4) Water Tank Lid

5) Removable Water Tank

6) Coffee Dispense Button

7) Coffee Reservoir

8) `Keep Warm` Heating Element

9) Coffee Reservoir Cover

10) Drip Tray

11) On/Off Button

BEFORE FIRST USE

Wash the Removable Filter Basket, Water Tank, Coffee Reservoir and Drip Tray in

warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the Main Housing with a

soft damp cloth. Do not immerse Main Housing in water or any other liquid.

Prior to brewing coffee for the first time run the machine with water only.

Follow the directions in the HOW TO USE section omitting the coffee and the

#4 cone-shaped paper filter. When all the water has dripped into the Coffee

Reservoir, press the On/Off Button to the ‘Off’ position. Wait a few minutes, then

press the the Coffee Dispense Button to let the water flow into a mug. Discard

the water from the mug. Repeat until all the water has been discarded.
